It happened that my husband and I were in Tombstone the Saturday that the Helldorado Festival was going on. We were glad that we braved the crowds because it was fun seeing everyone in costume and all the special events. I wanted to eat at Nellie's because of the reviews on this site and its history. Yes, it was hot and yes, it was crowded. We entered the place and a woman came up to us and said in a very curt manner "I don't have any room for you. You can check on the patio and see if there is any room there and if not, you can come back here and I'll put your name on th list". We hadn't said anything up to this point. I know she probably was working very hard but I was offended; she could have said the same thing but with a better attitude and it would have been fine. We walked right up the street to Longhorns (on Allen St) and got seated in about 10 minutes and the food was great and they wanted our business. I guess some people forget that it's the tourists like myself that keep them in business. I will never try this place again even if we were the only ones in town.
