We spent a very enjoyable week at Sedona Cathedral Hideway in October. The house and location are beautiful. It was nice to be a little bit away from the commercial area, which made it quieter and more peaceful. The room was spacious and luxurious and the shower was great. It was huge, with two shower heads and great water pressure. We loved the extras, comfortable sleep-number bed, gas fireplace, jetted tub, towel warmer, large walk-in closet, mini-fridge. Make sure to try Kathy's skin care products--they are probably the best we've ever used. The breakfasts were outstanding. They were made exactly to order and were always delicious. We especially loved eating breakfast outside on the patio with the view of Cathedral rock. We also really enjoyed getting to know Kathy and Larry. They were a lot of fun to talk to and gave us great suggestions on hikes and restaurants. We hope to return, especially because we didn't achieve our goal of seeing a javelina!

Let me just start out by saying that I have never written a review on anyplace I have stayed in the past until now. My husband and I would not even consider staying anywhere else in Sedona but the Cathedral Hideaway. We were spoiled for life by Kathy and Larry at this luxurious B&B.

From the moment we drove up to their home among the stunning red rocks, we knew we had found the perfect place. Our stay was extra special because we had decided to be married in a private ceremony on the property with Cathedral Rock in the background. It could not have been more memorable.

It's one thing to be the perfect host and hostess of a B&B, which Larry and Kathy undoubtedly are, quite another to participate and make sure everything was in place for a wedding. Especially with a stressed-out bride-to-be---but they were up to the challenge. They provided so much to make our day special---the flowers, music, photography, a view, but most importantly they gave us their support and kindness. As the commercial goes "priceless".

Perfect wedding aside, they take the word "pampered" to a whole other level. Their attention to detail is incredible. They have thought of everything to make your stay relaxing and memorable. Also--take any recommendation they give you for sight-seeing or dining. You won't be disappointed.

You cannot write a review on a B&B and not talk about the food. I have never had a better breakfast at a B&B or any place I have stayed. The French toast is amazing and that's only the start. We were lucky enough to spend 4 days there and still were not able to try everything on the menu.

If you have been spending hours on the internet looking for just the right “weekend getaway” you can stop right now. You have found it. Even if you have only 1 day to spend in Sedona, make it at the Cathedral Hideaway!

We loved everything about SCH - from the amazing Cathedral Rock views, the room, the food, but mainly Larry and Kathy's outstanding customer service. Listen to their suggestions - they are always spot-on. They know the best hikes, the most scenic spots and the best restaurants.
Our tour of the room and the house, upon arrival, took 45 minutes, as everything was explained to us. Even though our room was expansive, we felt we had the run of the house as well! The intimacy of having only two rooms made it feel like you were staying with friends, rather than at a B&B. Kathy and Larry have a large breakfast menu that you can modify to your taste, while dining al fresco on their beautiful deck. Speaking of the deck, I wanted to smuggle one of their anti-gravity chairs into my luggage and take it home with me!
We stayed in the Evergreen room, which was HUGE and lovely, with a jetted tub for two and an amazing walk in shower. I would wander out to the deck in the mornings with my coffee and watch the hummingbirds, goldfinch, and quail, and listen to the coyotes call to each other. Magical!

As we entered the driveway of the Cathedral Hideaway we sensed that this would be an experience like no other. The setting was pristine and the views were stunning. Meeting Larry and Kathy was like getting reacquainted with old friends. We felt right at home immediately. Our room was equipped with every amenity we could want, from the sleep number bed to the heated towel racks. We had great fun each evening planning our breakfast menus, whatever we wanted was the rule. So we wouldn’t get lost, Kathy escorted us out to the park one morning to get us started on a hike toward Cathedral Rock. They made dinner reservations for us, suggested scenic points to visit and arranged for a couples massage under the stars – a fantastic treat, and we can’t forget Larry’s ice cream!
We highly recommend the Cathedral Hideaway.
