We found SCH via a series of web searches, and are very glad we did. Our stay was unforgettable. The accommodations were outstanding, the location beautiful, and our hosts Kathy and Larry could not have been more gracious and helpful.

Their recommendations for things to do, restaurants, shopping and hiking were all spot-on. And the breakfasts!...to die for.

Kathy and Larry have a true knack for making strangers feel comfortable and at home in their place. If we return to Sedona, we won't be strangers the next time!

It is true that its decadent attention to the guests' desires and the luxurious amenities and surroundings make the Sedona Cathedral Hideaway the ultimate stay in Sedona.

But the truth is that it is a uniquely qualified, authentic, energetic, healing place. Simply show up, and let the healing energy of the Cathedral Rock (along with each and every grand red rock) infuse you with insights, a sense of peace and calm, a new energy that may confuse you at first (like tingling in the feet or a long-standing rush of well-being like you could only wish for from an espresso) but that will become a welcome feeling after awhile. Spirituality becomes up front and personal; and you get to take that free gift home with you for the rest of your life. Perhaps you will also be given a gift of a special aura just for you...like the attached.

PS: Larry and Kathy do not hover over you. You do not feel like you are in their home. Oddly, and most warmly, you feel like you are in your home and your best friends are waiting on you....and they are fantatic cooks.

Be careful. This healing place might become an addiction.

After reading all of the glowing reviews here for the Sedona Cathedral Hideaway I find it hard not to be repetitive. We decided to visit Sedona for the first time for our 25th anniversary and wanted someplace special to stay, we were not disappointed. We stayed for five nights in the Safari room and wish it could have been longer.
Never having been to Sedona I at first hesitated to choose the Hideaway because it looked like it was too far out of town but I didn’t realize how close everything is. The location is ideal, away from the traffic, quiet with spectacular views within walking distance of Oak Creek and Cathedral Rock trails.

There is nothing that I can add to other reviews of the breakfast that Kathy and Larry make for you, if you haven’t read them it is everything you could possibly want and too much of it. We had breakfast each day on the deck entertained by a swarm of hummingbirds that were coming so close that you could feel and hear the wind from their wings. With another few days I’m sure we would have had them drinking from our hands. In the evening while photographing the sunset from the deck we saw coyotes run by and listened to them howling to each other from all around.

Sedona is without a doubt the most beautiful and unusual place that I have ever been and I would say the same for the Sedona Cathedral Hideaway. Kathy and Larry have thought of everything and work very hard to make your stay special, always there to help plan your day or equip you for a hike while still letting you have as much privacy as you want.

There is so much to see around Sedona that it was nice to have someone to guide us to the best of it. When we talked of taking a jeep tour they convinced us that we would be happier using a local guide, Mike Krajnak from Southwest Outside adventures, who took us on a back country tour with some short hikes that we would not have done on a jeep tour, good choice.

If you have never stayed at a B&B the Sedona Cathedral Hideaway would be a great place to start, but Kathy and Larry will set a standard hard to find anywhere. I hope we can go back sometime.

I was yearning for quite a long time to find the perfect spot for peace, beauty, tranquility and healing. I found it at Sedona Cathedral Hideaway. It surpassed all my expectations and hopes. It is truly a sanctuary surrounded by spectacular scenery with luxurious lodgings. sumptious breakfasts and incredible hosts - Kathy and Larry. I have not had such a peaceful at-ease-with-myself-and-the-world feeling in quite awhile. To wake up every morning look out and witness Cathedral Rock and the wonders of Nature were real phenomenal gifts!

Kathy and Larry were extremely friendly and helpful. They are very knowledgeable about Sedona, restaurants, Spa treatments, the Vortexes and jeep tours. You are regarded and treated as special by this wonderful couple. In the evening, we were privileged to partake of some of Larry's out-of-this-world ice cream. It was really heavenlt! Mixed in with this was great conversation and lots of laughs with the hosts and the other guests. This B&B is the epitome of pampering, indulgence, relaxation and pure serenity. I felt such absolute calm and groundedness that I never knew existed. I literally tried to force myself to worry about ongoing issues in my lie - and I couldn't! Kathy recommended Thea when I asked about a hot stone massage. The massage was remarkable. Thea is AMAZING.

My husband and I can hardly wait to return to this serene sanctuary in October. I truly believe that this is the best place to stay in Sedona. I highly recommend it to anyone longing for the perfect getaway. Thanks Kathy and Larry.
