We have never stayed in a TRUE B&B before, but after reading the reviews, we took a chance. I must admit that we were very apprehensive about staying in someone's home - and feeling like we were on vacation. I must say that Larry and Kathy have perfected the art of making perfect strangers feels comfortable in their home. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel like it was OUR home to enjoy - and did we ever. All reviews and comments about breakfast do not even come close to describing it. Not only the food - but the surroundings and company can not be beat. They even make you feel like it's okay to have ice cream for breakfast. What a way to start the day! Larry and Kathy go out of their way to be sure you experience exactly what it is that YOU want to experience. After mentioning a massage, all was taken care of - even the upstairs deck equiped for a massage under the stars. After three days, we left feeling like we have made new friends. We will definitely return and have been spreading the word. Kudos to the Jaeckels!

I cannot say enough great things about Sedona Cathedral Hideaway! What an absolutely beautiful place with absolutely beautiful people taking care of your every whim! Kathy and Larry are absolutely adorable and love what they do! Thank you for sharing your beautiful house! And the food.....you will have much higher standards of eating when you leave here! The food was not only extremely creative but extremely good as well! They will feed you well then send you off with their recommendations on Sedona that are spot on! The only thing you have to do is get a great night's sleep on their wonderfully comfortable bed, wake up, eat a wonderful breakfast with hummingbirds all around, enjoy the beauty of Sedona, come back "home", relax in the 2 people jacuzzi (with a stunning view I might add), maybe enjoy a chocolate fondue and strawberries provided by Kathy & Larry and then crawl back into the comfy bed to start again! And I am not even making this up! We booked this lovely hideaway based on the rave reviews we found here on TripAdvisor and let me tell you- we were so not disappointed! Everything everyone says here is absolutely spot on! If you only do yourself one favor this vacation..........make sure you stay at Sedona Cathedral Hideaway! And haven't you earned it??!

By far the best B&B! We have stayed at other B&B's, Resorts and Spa's and we are here to tell you that none of them come close to Kathy and Larry's jewel. My wife and I stayed in the Safari room and my mother-in-law stayed in the Evergreen room for four nights. The rooms are exquisitely decorated with their guests comfort in mind. The sitting area is roomy with a great view of Cathedral Rock. The beds, which are sleep number beds are as comfy as can be. The shower was a hit for me every morning. We were actually late one morning for breakfast because I did not want to get out of the shower!! Next the breakfast: You name it and you will get it. The questions the night before are, "What would you like for breakfast tomorrow"? "What time would you like to eat"? "Where would you like to be served"? Both Larry and Kathy will serve you and treat you as kings and queens. Oh, the entertainment is top notch too! Larry and Kathy open their home to guests and want you to feel as though you are at home. That is exactly how we felt. From the time we got up in the morning to the time we went to bed. We were just in awe with not only their home but their hospitality as well. Sitting in the kitchen sipping wine and having some fruit and cheese or home made ice cream and great conversations are just samplings of what you can expect during your stay. We will come to visit this jewel in Sedona everytime we are in town!

My wife and I just returned from Sedona, AZ and had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay with Kathy and Larry. Lying in bed we could see Catherdral - just spectactular. And the breakfasts were sumptuous.
