Thank you Sam & Irith for your warmth & loving attention & for the " road less traveled " to the Grand Canyon. We had a great time. All the wonderful things people post about your place are more than true. The rooms, breakfast, afternoon snacks and attention to detail are not exaggerated.

We visited Sedona Views (your new place) a few days before it opened and it's beautiful. The views are great and the colonial Mexican decor is in keeping with the setting. I wouldn't hesitate to book there as well.

There is nothing negative to say. Thanks also to Candyce & Trudy ( the innkeepers ) who do an excellent job when you are elsewhere during the day.

Dear Sam and Irith, our holiday is over but we are still thinking of you a lot with warmth in our hearts. Our stay in your BB was superb, we loved our room (the Gentleman Cowboy), your hospitality and the breakfasts. Sedona and the surrounding was amazing, we hope coming back soon despite of the distance. Edit & Csaba from Hungary

“Another Great Stay”

Bottom line up front:

We've enjoyed our visits to Sedona and our stay at Boots and Saddles so much that we've invited our oldest son and his lovely bride to join us there next year.

This was our second week-long stay at Boots and Saddles and it was just as good as our first visit. Sam and Irith make you feel like family and do everything possible to make your visit to Sedona a great experience.

On your first morning, Sam will sit you down for an "orientation" and show you places of interest, various hiking trails, lunch and dinner recommendations as well as places to avoid.

Need a dinner recommendation or reservation? Then Sam is your "go-to-guy". He and Irith eat at the various restaurants in town. He will recommend only those places that pass his high standards. When you need to make a reservation, he'll whip out his cell and call the place without using speed dial!

The rooms are are beautiful and comfortable. The walk-in showers are HUGE and offer great views and the hot tub on the balcony is the perfect way to recover from a day of hiking and climbing.

However, the highlight of the stay is the daily breakfast ritual. Sam prepares every breakfast alternating between a "sweet" day and a "savory" day.

Breakfast is served at 8:30 and is different every day of your stay and they don't serve the items commonly found on the menus of the popular "breakfast restaurants" (e.g., pancakes, omelets, etc). Instead, you'll enjoy a pleasantly unique and fullfilling repaste.

Dear Sam and Irith,

Just wanted to thank you for the wonderful hospitality while staying with you this past week. Both rooms were wonderful and each had their own special charm and amenities. And, of course, I would be remiss if I didn't compliment the chef. Breakfast was superb every morning and we totally enjoyed Sam's stories! Restaurant and activity recommendations were also welcomed and right on the mark as being "magnificent"! When, not IF, I come back to Sedona, I will certainly check out Boots & Saddles again or maybe your new place!

What an absolutely wonderful place to stay! From the ultra clean and ultra cozy rooms to the absolutely ultra darling owners! You will feel so at home by Sam and Irith that you will not want to leave! (in fact you just might want to pack them both in your luggage and take them home with you! LOL!) And the food? Well...you enjoy something different and creative everyday for breakfast that you have probably never had before while Sam or Irith entertain you with either the history of the dish or just simply with their genuine personalities! We just loved our stay and can't say enough about this "home away from home" in beautiful Sedona. And if Sam recommends a restaurant to you - make sure you go there! We were not disappointed at any of them! If you are looking to treat yourself (like we all should do) do yourself a favor and go to Boots and Saddles!
