I travel extensively for work and have stayed at some poor hotels, but this was my worst experience ever. The room I had reserved is on the third floor overlooking the pool. The heat didn't work and it was 40 degrees. There were holes in the walls and most of the furniture was damaged. I called down to the front desk and they moved me to the first floor near the pool and vending machines. This room had minor damage to the walls, but the heat worked so I stayed. The carpet was stained, the shower curtain was badly stained and the toilet seat had numerous nicks and chips. The sink counter was badly stained but the bed was comfortable. When I got back from work on my second night, I pulled back the bedspread and saw that the sheets were badly stained. Either the maid had changed the bedding with badly stained sheets or someone had an encounter in my room. I reported it to the front desk and stated I was checking out. I told the front desk clerk, I was going to call the GM and owner. He asked me to do that since he was tired of dealing with similar problems each day. I have reported all of this to Ramada corporate. The bummer is that the location of this hotel is perfect, close to old Scottsdale and withing walking distance of tons of shops and restaurants. It is shame they don't take better care of it. Don't stay here!
