I rate this hotel "terrible," based upon it's location in Old Town Scottsdale. I wanted a place to crash on a Saturday night. The property seems dated... like from the late 60's. The stucco needs a rehab. The room was tiny and cramped. Allthough it was marked "non-smoking," the waft of tobacco was heavy when we entered.
The paint was peeling off the bathroom door. Many of the cieling tiles were water damaged. The ironing board was shot, and the iron caked with lime deposits from the the local hard water. Those two items are the easiest to fix too. There was mildew in the bathtub/shower and the drain was painfully slow, so water backed up as you showered...
Immediately, I wished I'd spent the extra $17 to stay at another place in Old Town where I've been happy before.
Don't stay there, ever!
