This "resort" is nothing but a Motel 6 with a fancy reception area and some new paint. All of the rooms open to the outside, which is not safe or deserves a 4 star rating. The rooms appear clean, but so do some Super 8's. I could nat imagine paying full price for this 2.5 star property.

For the price I guess we can't argue, but I won't ever do a Priceline search with "Scottsdale" & "Resort" again. Based on the reviews I get the sense that the quality of rooms is very hit & miss. Ours was just "okay": the room was extremely musty, the A/C was a wall unit that was hard to properly calibrate, and one of the two mattresses was definitely in need of replacement.

Everything about this place is just a touch "out of date" and I really don't think it deserves a 4-Star or Resort quality rating for anything. 3-1/2 maybe, but definitely not 4.

We searched the internet looking for a resort on Scottsdale Road with 2 room suites. We picked this one based on its website and the rate. When we arrived it more than lived up to our expectations. We were warmly greeted from the moment we drove up to the lobby entrance. We had requested a suite near the main thoroughfare and the suite was apparently blocked at time of our booking. We had two rooms - living room and bedroom. It was perfect - it was quiet in the room - never heard our neighbors - and well maintained. The housekeeping was excellent and the grounds are very well maintained. You can sense that the staff - no matter what their job - are proud of where they work. We did have some problems in the bathroom the first day but the repairman came in ten minutes after our call and solved the problem. The staff greeted us by name whenever we were in the main lobby area waiting for our tour guides to pick us up. I could not think of a better place to stay in the Scottsdale area and we will be going back in the future. I can't say enough about the resort - an "11" in my books.

Stayed here for a conference that I was attending. I was a little unsure about it based on the reviews here. When we arrived, we were upgraded to a bi-level suite which was really nice. It had a fireplace, small patio, 2 bathrooms, and a bedroom on the 2nd floor. The only issue was that when I got upstairs to the bedroom, it was not a king but 2 doubles. I called the front desk and asked to switch to a room with a king. They were accomodating and sent a porter over to our room with the new room key. The A/C unit was loud and the water pressue in the shower was poor. The resort is nice however it is quite large and is definately not easy to navigate at night. The conference facilities were fine and the food they provided at the conference was great. No complaints there. There is a charge for internet which is quite surprising considering its a 'conference' facility and that is a major draw for the resort. There was also a 'porter' charge on our final bill for $8.00. I supose they charge you that so that the porter can show you to your room. However you really don't have a choice in that matter....they don't really offer any other way to find your room except to follow the porter. All in all, it was a great value for the group conference rate of $149/night. I probably would not stay there again on my own accord.
