I stayed here for one night before leaving for Antarctica. This hotel was booked for me by the tour company. It had a cozy, rustic feel, and is in a beautiful location away from the town of Ushuaia. The room was large and well-heated, with a view of the mountains (others had a view of the Beagle Channel.) There was free internet, friendly staff, and fabulous food. If you are skiing or doing a lot of outdoor activities, this would be a great place to unwind and refuel. The wait staff in the dining room were very friendly and personable. I had a wonderful meal: fresh seafood and a tiramisu made with port.
The only downsides were that it felt a bit *too* spacious at times, and that the TV didn't work. The lennox and hostal malvinas both had a full range of cable stations, including english language movie channels. Not that you go to ushuaia to watch tv, but it's a nice option after a long hike. Would maybe stay here again, but would definitely come back to eat at the restaurant.
