Best steak in Buenos Aires!

My husband and I ate here twice on our visit to B.A. I've seen some of the reviews saying it's overpriced and it's true it's expensive - especially when you can go to many restaurants in the city and eat like kings for under $50. However, we thought it was money very well spent. The service was excellent, the bread delivered by the waiters was amazing, the appetizer plate delivered to our table was wonderful, the salads were fresh and tasty, the desserts were good and the steak and the wine lists were amazing. My husband ordered a New York strip the first time but I ordered filet mignon both times. All the meat dishes we ordered were huge, delicious, and just the best we had ever tasted. The wine list was long and varied and featured some of the harder-to-find Malbecs that we wanted to try. We would go back again and again and again (but we'll always make sure to make reservations!)

This is the most overpriced restaurant in Buenos Aires and probably in Argentina, period. Slow, rude service. Ridiculous prices. A $6.50 table charge.

We loved eating in Buenos Aires. It was one of the best parts of our trip. We spent more than $100 a couple times on meals and it was money well spent.

The $110 to eat the Cabana was a waste. Don't be a stupid tourist - like I was - and eat here. (Yes. I'm on a crusade. I also reviewed this restaurant under the name of Las Lilas instead of Cabana Las Lilas. I want visitors to Buenos Aires to know what I wish I had known. Stay away.)

This is my favourite restaurant in all the world. Great appetizers, great steak, seafood, and bar. The winelist is wonderful and features the best malbecs Argentina has to offer. I never visit Buenos Aires without a trip (or two) to Cabana.
