Mott quickly became my favorite restaurant in Buenos Aires. As you enter it is immediately clear that this is a "cool" place. The front entry area has comfy couch seats and low, coffee-table like tables. This area is perfect for a lazy brunch or a glass of wine.
The design of the restaurant stands out. It's like a place out of New York. Perfectly designed and very chic. At night the lights come down, the candlelight takes over.
Now to the food. Mott is all about "Market Food" so each menu item will have a few staple ingredients followed my "market vegetables" or market greens, etc.. During my week in BA I at there three times and each time had a different, freshly baked bread. Never the same.
This place is good for everyone. Foodies, vegetarians, carnivores, whatever.
I highly suggest trying the Pumpkin Salad if it is available. The combo of the pumpkin, the seeds, the greens, and the unexplainably good dressing is a meal to remember.
I mentioned the bread. It really shines during brunch/lunch. Have a brunch item with toast or a sandwich. You won't forget it.
