I went in September of 2005 and spent three nights there. It is located in the "Avenida de Mayo", very close to the government building "Casa Rosada". I payed 50 Pesos per night, which was then about 13 Euros. I got a nice room with a heating device, cable television and a bathroom. Towels were changed every day. The room was clean. The spot is excellent and seemed to be safe, since there is a lot of police in the vicinity. Besides, its got a phone to receive calls. The stairway is very nice. It was a quiet, interior room. The outside rooms are probably a little noisy.

Great value, just imagine what you would get for 13 Euros or 16 Dollars in Europe or in the US
