Our party of four spent several nights at Fifu Guest House. The rooms were excellent and the staff friendly. The overnight camel trip into the desert that they organized for us was a highlight of our trip. You will find the guest house to be an oasis in the hubbub of India.

My husband and I were on our honeymoon when we stayed at this Hotel. It was booked for us as part of a Rajasthan package. We would just like to say that the Hotel was absolutely wonderful. Not only is it a beautiful yellow sandstone building and very tastefully decorated inside but it is also just 5 minutes walk from the Fort and local marketplace. It's located on a very quiet road surrounded by desert land and is very scenic and tranquil.

Our room was very clean, very comfortable with air con and shower. All the staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating. Meals are served on the roof terrace which is a stunning place to sit and watch the sun set while drinking beer. We met Fifu himself, the owner, who is warm, friendly and just a lovely man. The food was delicious and staff are on hand to do anything for you.

We arranged a desert/camel safari jeep ride through the hotel which was wonderful with a desert campfire meal cooked for us under the stars.

On the day we left, we were given, by Fifu, an old black and white photograph of a street in Jaisalmer as it was years ago. It was a gift from them which was incredibly thoughtful and something we will treasure forever to remember our honeymoon by.

We are definitely going to return one day. Staying at Hotel Fifu is absolute bliss, if you've already experienced a noisy bustling India like we had.

I had a wonderful experience at Hotel Fifu. It's a lovely hotel and the rooms are beautifully and very tastefully decorated. The bathrooms are also great with hot water which is not always available in Rajasthan. The hotel is a little out of the main fort area, but is very quiet and a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the beautiful view of the fort. The Hotel has it's own rooftop restaurant which is lovely and they have a good variety of food. Overall I would highly recommend Hotel Fifu. Jeetu and Fifu were most hospitable and made me feel right at home.

After a mixture of quality in our India stays leading up to Jaisalmer we were delighted with the Fifu guest house. The mangagement have a very welcoming and relaxed approach which is appreciated after some of our earlier experiences.

We saw a number of rooms before deciding on one with a lovely window seat and view of the fort. All the rooms were very clean, had excellent amenities and were tastefully furnished with Rajasthani textiles.

Breakfast on the terrace was relaxing and all the staff were polite and friendly.
