“Amazing!”

Radisson SAS Resort Sharm El Sheikh

Well this was my first holiday abroad on my own with my boyfriend and we both wanted somewhere we could relax, and Radisson was perfect!! it is unbeilivably hot out there...we loved it! Not one cloud or below 30 degrees for two whole weeks!

Good points:
The service.. amazing. The waiters could not do more for you here. they really are there as soon as you want them which is great on holiday!

The pool was more than we could have imagined and i am one of them people who thinks the pool is more important than the room as that is where i spend most of my time! and it truely was fantastic, very clean (you see it get cleaned every night without fail by a man with a verrry long pole!) and although the hotel complex is massive the pool never feels too packed! one end (near the bar) is the livelier end with the entertainment team keeping everyone entertained (they were fantastic at always being so cheerful and talkin to everyone they see! Great to children especially) and they play english music throughout the day which is just loud enough not to annoy you at all. There is another pool nearer the beach and that is for those that do not want to hear a peep out of anything!

They even come round with freezing cold towels for your head and that.

Family friendly here as the entertainment is good but even adults joined in that. However it is also perfect for couples, of which there were quite a few.

the rooms were ok, nothing amazing but the beds were comfy, room was a good size, everything worked, bathrooms were large, although the tele does have only 2 english channels.. not that you need a tele when your on hols really?

we were told we had a balcony room and we were on ground level so our 'balcany' was actually a patio that led to one the gardens. This wasnt too bad at all really as who wants to walk up stairs at the end of the day?

Food was yummy here although maybe a bit too repetative and olivios was nice but very expensive if your not all inc. as it cost me and my bf £30 just for one meal (without drinks) which is ok but when you compare that to the £11 it cost for a meal of starters and mains for 2 at the Hard Rock, its easy to say Hard Rock wins!

Def worth going into Naama Bay at night! Cost £15 there and back by cabs, we used the ones provided by the hotel... there a little bit safer. Or £5 return on the bus although the bus i must warn you will not wait to check if anyones missin, we used it once and on the pick up it didnt even stop driving it just slowed down and we had to jump on as it was moving!!

But food there is cheap and lovely, the drinks are still normal prices but you find that everywhere. And the atmosphere is great! If your with your wife, girlfiend or daughters just make sure you keep an eye on them as the men tend to leer a bit which unsettled me and annoyed my boyfriend but you do get used to it.

And just be firm with anyone you dont want to buy something off they will leave you alone just dont start talking to them, you'l never get away!

Not so good points:

Ok so i ended up getting up at half 6 in the mornin and sleep walking to the pool to put towels out but that was only because I wanted the parasol and didnt want all the germans having them! It wasnt too much of a problem because it was actually very beautiful at that time in the morning to see the sun rising over the amazing pool!!

I would highly suggest going all inclusive if you want to drink much alcohol there! for my boyfriend to have one shot of brandy was £8! we found a whole massive bottle in the shops for the same price so ended up having drinks in our room before hand.

The one thing that really got on my nerves was the excursions we booked with first choice. We booked three: Quad bikin, Snorkelling and A Night time Cruise for our 3 year anniversary.
Quad biking was wicked!!! i new my bf would love it ut i didnt expect to have to much fun myself..but at the end once again noone checked everyone was there and as we went to the bathroom, everyone else boarded the coach.... and left!!!!!! Left us at this quad bikin place, half hour from hotel without checking! I give it to the men there they called the driver and went mad and he came back 15 mins later but that is not good enough!

Then the cruise was next, and we were told to get to the lobby at 5, we turned up at 20 too to have a drink first and i asked the rep at about 10 to if the coach was here yet... it had been and gone before we even got there!! When you pay £60 each for a cruise fore your anniversary you expect to be picked up!? So we were put in a taxi and i told them we werent paying for it so who was? and were told someone at the other end will....that took another hour the other end to sort out who was paying? not perfect start but was a very romantic evening in the end with us laying on the deck on the padded floor looking up at the sky which was always so so clear.

And the snorkelling, well we didnt go on that because i was ill so that was noones fault but the food or drink i had.

OVERALLLL:

Fantastic holiday and the Radisson has one of the best pools i have ever seen in my life and i would def go back there.

Just returned from a two week break with my husband and two children ages 5 and 9. Had a wonderful time at the radisson sas, we had upgraded to a marine room which was supposed to have a sea view, ours did not so we asked at reception and we were moved to a much better room right on the sea front. Apart from that initial blip the rest of our holidays was great. Kamal the restaurant manager was brill, he could'nt do enough for us and we did'nt even tip him! You don't have to tip, some staff won't except one. We tipped our cleaner Omah and he treated us like royalty' so would recommend some tips. We went B &B so ate in the hotel which was quite expensive, Namm Bay was really cheap to eat, but do book the radisson shuttle to get you there as the taxis rip you off! Kids club was a bit poor not many children used it which put my two off. If your happy just relaxing with your family the radisson is the hotel for you. We are looking at returning soon!

We loved staying here! The restaurants were fantastic and the staff brilliant, loved the personal touches when they cleaned the rooms. Great pools and great beach where the snorkelling off the jetty was fantastic! Definately worth the money to upgrade to a seafront room too. The Italian restaurant is a must for couples very romantic!
