We had a recommendation from our taxi driver says that The Red Hut Inn is a new place and it is in a very up scale residential community. So we decided to give it a shot, to take a look at the place and see how it is, how the rooms looks like and they were great for the price. We got stock here since we were unable to make it for our flight out. But we have heard terrible stories about hotels in Belize City, so we had ask our driver to recommend one, and we are very happy that he did. Upon checking in, we ask to see if we can view the room first then decide if we would like to stay here, and the owner, Julia had no hesitation at all to just say yes, and when we saw the room, no hesitation at all, we took the room. My husband and I feel so relax in the room, or I should say a studio apartment more like in the room or suite they offer. We have a sitting area in our room with sofa and coffee table. Nice size bathroom and we had a great rest for the night, cause the area is so quiet and safe. Since Julia and Lewis (Owner/couple) they live on site, we could have ask for anything, they assist us on all. We did not feel like to eat out at all, and they were cooking and they invited us for dinner in their house. They are so nice. We will definitely recommend more friends and family to stay there at the Red Hut Inn.
