Villa Boscardi is a B&B that presents a charming front to the street and offers small, clean, motel-like rooms with a few pleasant touches. In the context of Belize City, it may seem like an oasis of order and polish, but the common rooms (including the kitchen) are not air-conditioned, and the windows don't close well enough to insure that Belize's ingenious mosquitoes and no-see-um's will stay out. The quality of the breakfast was not stellar, but the location is only 15 minutes at most from the airport, which is hard to beat if you have a morning flight out of Belize. (Based on a late December 2004 stay.)
