“Amazing price for a holiday weekend”

Hyatt Place Windward Parkway

5 of 5 stars
Dayton, OH
Jun 19, 2008

Could not believe that I got this hotel for $64 a night on Memorial weekend day. I tried the hotel website and that's the price I got. The rating of the hotel was definitely a 4+ star but because of the price I rated it a 5. Every room was a suite with a flat panel LCD swivelling TV. The breakfast covered in the hotel charges was also superior to just the regular continental offered by most. Cleanliness was comparable to one of the best.
I would stay here again and recommend it to anyone out there who has any doubts.

“Just got home from a fabulous stay!”

Hyatt Place Windward Parkway

May 11, 2008

We loved this place! The king bed with sofabed was HUGE! Plenty of room for my 2 girls and me. There was a very large flat screen tv in the room that swiveled. All areas we saw of the hotel were exceptionally clean including our room and bathroom. The continental breakfast was nice with fresh fruit and plenty to fill us up. The pool was large and freezing, but they are not in charge of the weather! They had 2 computers for guest use and most of the staff were very friendly to my girls. None were mean, just some made more of an effort to talk with them than others. The cleaning crew was waiting to clean our room as we left around 11:30 ( check out is 12) and the guy ran down to my car as we were leaving to hand me my cell phone which I had left. I had not yet missed it and was grateful he made the effort to get it to me!
There was a place to buy premade snacks and drinks in the lobby as well as a kitchen area where you could order hot meals and snacks. We ate dinner there ( lots of nice seating areas) but I felt it was pricey for the small portions. We actually went out a couple hours later and ate again! For us,the convenience did not make up for the price and portions, but I can see how it would be great for those without a car.
We will definelty return to this Hyatt Place as well as try others:-)

“Friendly staff, hotel was okay”

Hyatt Place Windward Parkway

4 of 5 stars
Sunnyvale, California
Feb 4, 2008

Stayed 6 nights at the Hyatt Place for business. The hotel was close to my work and it was also close to restaurants as well. There is a strip mall across the street with food and a Walgreens.

Upon arriving at the hotel, a couple of us checked in at the front desk, while a couple of us checked in using the electronic kiosk. Got my room key and headed up to the room.

The room itself was a good size. There is a little bar area with a small sink and a refrigerator. The is a large 42 inch plasma TV in the room. Nice large couch with an ottoman. I had a king size bed and the air conditioner/heater was a wall mounted unit just under the window. The bathroom in my room seemed to be a little tired. The toilet seemed to be new, but the tub and shower walls could use a refresh. The sink area was outside of the bathroom and appeared newer. There was a hair dryer, iron and ironing board. The closet was a bit small.

There is free wireless high speed internet in the room, but there were no instructions on how to log in. I had to figure it out on my own. There is also a nice little panel on the side of the tv where you can plug in a laptop or dvd player to watch on the tv.

A continental breakfast is included and they brew starbucks coffee. The breakfast included white bread, a few bagels and english muffins. I found that on monday and tuesday, there was slight mold growing on the plain bagels. There is also fruit, yogurt, and cereal. The fruit did not appear fresh, but from a can. They also have made to order hot meals throughout the day, but are an additional charge. You can also buy snacks and drinks at the front desk.

I did not use the pool or the fitness facility. They also have 2 computers in the lobby with a printer.

All in all, it was a good stay. The staff was always friendly. The only thing I question is the freshness of the food they serve.

“LOVED the Hyatt! Will Here Stay Again!!!”

Hyatt Place Windward Parkway

Nov 20, 2007

I was needing to make a last minute trip to Atlanta for a funeral. I got a really good last minute deal on travelocity. I looked at the hotels that travelocity gave me and then compared it to Trip advisor of course...(its the best and it can save you from a bad stay). The hotel was about 1 hr from where I really needed to go including from the Airport but it was an EXCELLENT stay. The location is in a very nice area. Near shopping centers, walmart, krogers and other little shops and resturants. I very impressed upon entering and the ROOMS...They girl who dropped me off was even impressed. It was pretty big...more space then what I was expecting. When you walk in there is a couch that can be another bed (pullout) and then a in front of the couch its a table with mini bar. There was also a 42" flat screen that swivels. Then a mini wall that separates the bed from the "living area". The bathroom was clean and great. The sink area was GREAT...made for females. Mirrors everywhere and sink space. So everyone can do there make up and everything. I really didn't have any complaints except for that they didn't make my bed and clean up the room. I was only there for two nights. But I did have my "Zzz" sign on until about 11am but with other hotels they always come back and clean it. I would definitely come back and stay there!!!

“Loved It!”

Hyatt Place Windward Parkway

5 of 5 stars
Atlanta
Sep 18, 2007

My hubby and I enjoyed the Hyatt at Windward Parkway. The rooms are fabulous...the employees were great...the service, cleanliness, style were all great! I loved it, and will go back again - Just to get away..it's a home away from home & in comparison to other hotels where you pay 150+ a night, this is where you need to be! I'd recommend it to anyone -you get your money for your buck!
