I traveled alone and was there for three nights for a conference that was also held in the facility. The suite was spacious and the service superb. Everyone from the front desk to housekeeping and food service staff were friendly. They were prompt and demostrated efficiency and excellence.

The setting is beautiful. The view from my room overlooked the park and lake with a view of the Altamonte shops beyond. I couldn't resist a walk around the lake on my first night.

The in-house restaurant was overpriced, but the food was delicious and the service adequate. The meeting facility was comfortable and adequate for our meeting of about 90 people.

I would love to return to this hotel with my family.

travelled to Orlando on business and choose this property after doing research on The Lexington, where were were supposed to stay. Stay away from the Lexington but stay here instead. Great clean rooms, outstanding location with shops, walking track around large lake, easy to get to. Very friendly staff. Only complaint would be overcooked bacon at breakfast and I can't reccommend the on-site restaurant "Omaha Steakhouse", okay steak, poor service, bad overpriced.
Looking for a great alternative to the Disney crowd? Stay here. It was a great stay! I will be staying here again. I absolutely trust and refer to TripAdvisor so I can reccommend this one. Enjoyed it so much this is my first review!

We recently booked a stay from Dec. 27 through Jan 3rd. We were pleasantly surprised by the location, about 30 minutes from the airport, but only 15 minutes from the Citrus Bowl/downtown Orlando, and 20 minutes from Universal area. Rooms were clean, shower curtain had a bit of mold, and tiles were old, but overall the hotel was top notch. The area is great because you can walk to all sorts of shopping, walking trails, and outdoor entertainment. Free concerts for the holiday season right outside your door! The hotel has a free shuttle to several fine area restaurants, so you don't have to worry about drinking and driving! The staff was so very courteous and willing to help out in any way. The free breakfast buffet each morning, as well as, manager's reception 2 hours in the evening was a bonus. The microwave and fridge in the room helped on kids snacks for the day trips. The pool was enjoyable too.

Stayed this past Thursday and Friday at the hotel. Older Embassy Suites property but everything was well maintained and clean. The hotel staff members I dealt with were helpful and went out of their way to answer questions and assist as needed. Hotel is right off of Interstate 4 and you can't miss it coming in from the east. Once you enter Uptown Altamonte it can be a little tricky to find as you actually come in from the rear of the property. About 30 minutes from Disney if no traffic delays. If going to Disney just once it was fine but would want something closer if going to Disney multiple times. Got an advance rate directly from the Hotel Website. It was nice getting a full suite at rates lower than what a normal room goes for. It was also nice to have a true suite with 2 separate rooms versus what other hotels call a suite. Hotel is within walking distance of a lake which has a nice board walk that goes across to the other side and around the lake itself. On the Friday night that I stayed, there was a free concert and fireworks which was nice after dinner. Hotel is in an area called Uptown Altamonte which is being redeveloped. Already though there are a number of small restaurants and shops within walking distance. An AMC Theatre is about a 10 minute walk away by taking the boardwalk by the lake. Thursday night the hotel was rather quiet - more business travelers that night but Friday night the hotel was packed with the leisure travelers coming in and several parties booked at the hotel Friday evening. I would definitely stay at this hotel again especially at the same rate.
