We stayed for three nights in March 2007. We had booked our room on [----] and when we arrived, the man at the front desk was discouraged
because the reservation was made in a smoking room with one bed and we had requested two full beds in a non smoking room. Without hesitation, the front desk got us the room we wanted. The room was simple but very clean. The beds were extremely comfortable too. The grounds were well maintained and although we did not go in the pool, it looked very inviting. The continental breakfast was very simple but adequate for our needs. For the price, this hotel was perfect for us. We were 25 minutes from our relatives in Oviedo and we were a perfect meeting point for going to downtown Orlando. We would definitely go back to this hotel.

The good news: The hotel is located in a safe area with restaurants within easy walking distance. The staff was helpful and attentive. Bad news: The non-smoking rooms I believe to the management means, "no one is smoking in the room at the moment". We used an entire can of Febreeze and were able to get by. We could have asked for another room but all in our group found the same condition in the other "non-smoking" rooms.

It's ok for the price. Staff could be more friendly, it could use a better cleaning crew and better pillows. If you will be staying for a one nighter due to business like I do, it should be fine(bring your own pillow), otherwise look at others in the area.

The hotel changed name to Days Inn recently. We were given a room that has a lasting mildew smell and no bath-tub. The room was obviously old and worn. The hotel was experiencing some change of management during our stay and the check-in and check-out processes were very tedious.
The hotel staff were all friendly though. They have a basic continental breakfast. There is easy access to business and transportation since it is located on a big street. We found a very good Chinese buffet just 2 miles away.
