“Best Hotel in Prague”

Hotel Yasmin

Not a lot to say here other than, make sure you sample Hotel Yasmin. It is a gorgeous, modern, clean, excellent value for money hotel. The breakfast is brilliant and caters for all nationalities; the food on the menu is quationable but is not so important as you never really want to eat in the hotel your staying at. I did try the noodle soup once and it was perfectly acceptable.

Location is perfect with a quick walk to Wenceslas Square and the Old Town is just 15 minutes tops. The staff seem friendly enough and the rooms are adequate.

I have stayed here 3 times now and have no complaints and will certainly stay again.

My reason for stay was business trip,.

“Just perfect”

Hotel Yasmin

Just spent 3 days at Yasmin. The location is perfect, in a quiet street just off Václavské Námesti (high street/square).

We had a junior suite which was spacious, modern and had a very nice black tiled bath room (not naff, just cool) - everything super clean. The air condition worked perfectly. Plus for bath robes.

The interior is creative, funny and positive (loved the floating birch wood - wonder if the trees will be snowy in winter time). We only had breakfast in the restaurant, but it includes almost everything your heart desires - except low fat milk.

All staff was friendly and service minded at any time of day. The hotel provides taxi service to the airport.

I'm pretty fussy, but Hotel Yasmin really delivered.

“Beautiful Boutique Hotel in Centre of Prague”

We stayed in The Hotel Yasmin for 3 nights in May and would highly recommend it. BEWARE do not confuse it with Hotel Jasmine which, the taxi driver told us, is a converted working mens hostel on the outskirts of town!
The staff at the Yasmin spoke perfect English and were very pleasant and helpful. The rooms were modern, clean and fresh. The hotel is situated close to Wenceslas Square (which isn't a square at all, but a long avenue with shops and hotels on either side). Best exit the hotel through the restaurant and the small shopping centre, which takes you directly onto the square. Visit Prague Castle on the hill by means of the tram outrside the Opera House. You buy your ticket from small newspaper kiosks - very cheap, and walk back down into the city. Lovely bar/restaurant on the way down the hill called Zlata Buezda. Great Czech food and cold beer! Also worth a visit is the St Norbert Brewery at the Monastery, where you can have a fabulous local meal with locally brewed wheat beer. Final, and best recommendation - take a classic car tour from the Old Town Square. Approx £40 for about an hour, but well worth it. Local drivers with really interesting stories - definately not a rip-off! Overall, fantastic trip, great city, friendly people and fabulous weather!

“Lovely Modern Hotel, Great Location, Friendly Staff”

Hotel Yasmin

My husband booked this hotel for us to celebrate my 40th Birthday this March. We stayed three nights on a bed and breakfast basis and found it excellent. Transfer time from the airport is around 20/25 minutes and cost us around £20 in a taxi.

The hotel location is very central being very near to Wencelas Square, the hotel even has it's own rear entrance which takes you through a little shopping mall and emerges right onto the square. On the Square you'll find shops, restaurants and pubs and this is where the main night life can be found. Dotted all over the city you'll find little markets, very talented buskers playing classical, opera as well as Jazz which seems to be one of the things here. You can easily walk all over Prague and can reach just about all the major attractions on foot from this hotel, unlike Paris where the underground is a must because it's so huge!

Breakfast at the hotel is a large buffett style breakfast with more than enough choices of hot and cold to satisfy anyone, we were very pleased with it. We didn't have meals in the hotel as Prague has so much to offer restaurant wise we decided to go out and explore. We had a standard double room but found that too was lovely, with a 6 foot wide double bed, very modern interior and having a large ensuite. The room and the hotel generally was immaculate and represented good value for money. I certainly wouldn't hesitate to use this hotel again if returning to Prague. All the staff speak excellent English and were friendly and helpful.

“Medium hotel, good location , bad staff”

I was for business at the Jasmine Hotel in Prague, and my opinion is not totally ok. First of all I was in Prague many times and I have visited other Hotels that in my opinion are quite better of the Jasmin ( Radisson Sas, Marriott< Reinassance< KK)

The jsmine is in a good location very close to Venceslao Square ( and in my opinion this is the only positive thing) , rooms are very small and very very sad. .

There are nothing inside the room ( I understand that this is a minimalist hotel ... but!!! in my opinion this is only a way to save money for the owner of the hotel) , small tv , small frigo bar , a discrete bathroom.

Staff are very rude and not so positive.

In my opinion i can repeat, there better hotel with same price, or just a little more expansive, but totally different .

I will never come back here.
