We were married in July and went to PR for our honeymoon. The better half of the week was spent with Jon and Yolanda at the Guesthouse, and our final evening was spent in a ritzy, expensive place closer to the airport. The guesthouse was wonderful. So much better in every way. We came in fairly late in the evening, Jon greeted us, helped us with our luggage and even chatted with us for a length of time. We were able to get great recommendations for places to eat, places to visit and beaches to adventure, daily. So much better than anything a brochure could tell you. We were able to use beach chairs and boogie boards. They even had a huge selection of DVD's to rent that we took advantage of one evening- complete with a bag of microwave popcorn!
The breakfast was always wonderful- fresh eggs, fresh loaves of bread, juice, coffee, yogurt.... we never went out for breakfast, we were able to eat right there, FREE! I could go on and on... the locals were wonderful as well. however, the driving can be a tiny bit scary at times... drive carefully!
