My family and I just got back from 6 nights at the Dos Angeles Del Mar Guesthouse, and it was fantastic!! The rooms are very comfortable and clean, the pool and patio area is beautiful, and the breakfast that is provided is a great start to the day. The hosts John and Yolanda were amazing and they made sure our stay was the best it could be. Maid service was also excellent and rooms were kept very clean the entire time we were there.

During our stay, we did not experience dogs barking through the night or enough to bother us, as described in a previous review. There were other guests staying there at the same time, but we hardly saw them and the house felt like our own private retreat.

We have previously stayed at a few other places in Rincon but Dos Angeles Del Mar was the best yet. We can’t wait to go back and we will definitely stay there again.

We just got back from our trip at the Dos Angeles Del Mar. What a wonderful place to stay!! Although the weather was not great because of the tropical storm we enjoyed Johns hospitality. The room was exactly as described clean and beautiful. John helped us arrive as directions around Rincon are difficult to follow if you have never been there. He loaned us beach chairs and anything else we needed. He provides a breakfast every morning and was always available for surf break directions etc.

There were a few comments about the barking dogs. There are quite a few dogs next door that bark on occaision but they never barked at night so they didn't bother us that much. The views are nice and its a short walk down to the beach. We found it easier to drive most of the time anyways.

Well, we stayed at Dos Angeles Del Mar about seven months ago now. Although I'm a little late posting a review, it is by NO MEANS a reflection on this wonderful, wonderful place. My fiance (then boyfriend) and I flew into San Juan and drove into Rincon late in the evening. I don't remember exactly when we arrived, but it was LATE. Despite that, John was waiting for us with an AWESOME attitude and checked us in in mere minutes and showed us to our great room. It was the "honeymoon" suite.

Since we got in so late, it was really hard to see much. When we woke up the next morning, we were stunned. The beautiful green and blue of the outdoors felt like it seeped all the way into our room. The room was amazingly bright, the view breathtaking ... I could go on forever. The breakfasts downstairs were fun. We chatted with several of the other people staying there. We never really used the pool, since we drove to a different beach every day we were there. I think we only stayed 4 nights (or 3?), but when we came back home, we were so relaxed, we could have been gone for a month.

John and Yolanda, you guys ROCK! We would do Dos Angeles del Mar in an instant.

Oh, and by the way, before settling on Dos Angeles del Mar, we investigated several other places. One thing I really appreciated here was that I always received prompt responses to all my inquiries, where as some of the other places either took forever to respond, or never responded.

Simply put, this is the nicest and coziest place you'll find. It's a bit hidden in the mountains, but not inaccesible and also close to beach. It's Rincón, so there's always a beach nearby, whether it be for sunbathing, snorkeling or watersports. John is the best host ever, friendly and informative. Rooms are clean and bed is comfy. Check out is also a no-hassle affair.

The pool is nice if not spectacular. The gardens are well kept, and the place is mostly quiet. And the view, what a view! At night you can even hear the waves crashing. So if your looking for a nice, quiet place to stay, I highly recommend Dos Angeles. We're local, so the wife and I wil definitely be staying again.

And do have the morning bread, it's delicious! (free breakfast, by the way)
