This is a nice hotel situated in a quiet area of Venice but is only a two minute walk to the front. It's approx 10 minutes to St Marcs Square.

I would definitely recomment this hotel to anyone visisting Venice. The staff are excellent in every way, helpful and very friendly.

Venice is quite expensive but we found this hotel reasonable for bed and breakfast, the breakfast is continental but is ample and the variety of choice is quite good.

If visiting Venice again I would return to this hotel.

only thing the air conditioning in the building was a bit too cold for me (luckyly we could control the room temperature, so it wasn't an issue)

We stayed in late May and was thoroughly pleased with this hotel. A short walk from the water bus stop (200 yards). The staff could not have been nicer even arranging a table at a recommended restaurant.

We had a superior room overlooking the canal, the decor is classic Italian and done with some style. They did not appear to serve an evening meal, just breakfast, which you can load on a tray and wander through to the garden which is wonderfully peaceful and a rarity in a crowded Venice. There are some friendly bars just along the canal which also serve food.

Getting there is not difficult, the Water Bus goes from the airport and takes about 90 minutes, which sounds long but it’s also a cheap tour! (€12?) The alternative is €95 for a speedboat taxi. Best advice if you are there for a short stay is to buy a three day pass for the Venetian waterbus (not the same as the airport transfer), I think this was €28 and they do check occasionally. This will take you everywhere, although it’s also not far to walk anywhere (take some good shoes).

I loved Venice and cannot wait to return. OK you will get shafted, ripped off and over charged, but it’s still worth it. Truly the most beautiful place I have ever seen.

A superb hotel, by far the best we have stayed in in Venice. Convenient but quiet location. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Lovely garden, excellent for relaxing in.

Our room was on the ground floor, neither garden or canal facing but it was large, beautifully furnished and with an excellent bathroom and efficient air con.

The freshly sliced proscuttio ham at breakfast was a welcome bonus.

The one small problem was that the hotel name is only displayed, very discreetly on the floor at the entrance and could be easily missed.

There are plenty of good restaurants nearby and a very convenient supermarket 4 mins walk away.

Would definitely go back.
