Absolutely fabulous small hotel 3 minutes walk from Piazza San Marco and 7/8 mins from Rialto. Near the biz yet quiet.
Easy to find from St Mark's Square from vaporetto stop connection from Marco Polo airport.
Rooms spotless,modern + air con. Whole hotel beautifully appointed, refurbed a couple of years ago - done in great taste.
Continental breakfast fine, more if you wished.
Nothing was too much trouble from very pleasant staff.
We stayed for a week, and this hotel was ideal for exploring main part of Venice on foot, and handy for ferries to other islands.
No hestitation in recommending!

Lovely boutique hotel with only seven or eight rooms, in a quiet alley literally a couple of minutes from from Piazza San Marco.

It is recently renovated building with lots of upscale modern touches (flat screen TVs, dream bathrooms, and creative lighting, etc.)

The staff was very friendly and were quick to offer advice, but the location is what makes this a great value. In addition to being steps from the Piazza San Marco, there is a internet cafe within 50 ft. and a grocery store across the corner (you'll soon realize how nice that is!!).

I was a little skeptical booking online at what was the lowest rate for a three star hotel in Venice, but the place was magnificent. Next time in Venice, I would not look anywhere else.

Great value and in a very good position. It's situated in a quiet lane but only a few minutes from St Marks. Equally it's only a short walk to the Rialto Bridge.
We stayed in the loft room with views over the rooftops of Venice - to be recommended.
The room was a reasonable size - comfortable and clean with quality furnishings which give the place an air of a 4* hotel.
A good bathroom - modern and newly decorated.
A decent continental breakfast and they'll offer you as much tea, coffee, rolls & croissants as you want. Cereals and yoghurts too.

Very helpful staff for restaurants and places to see. They have someone on call 24 hrs.
We reserved direct on line with CC but when you check out they'll offer you a discount if you pay by cash so be prepared - it's worth it (they have to pay quite a lot on CC charges so they'll pass on the saving if you pay by cash)

We stayed for 3 nights and wouldn't hesitate to recommended it for the price, compared to other places in Venice.
Drawbacks? Only the fact that there are a few flights of stairs to get to the room (the lift only goes to the first floor) but that is very typical of these sorts of atmospheric properties in Venice. It would only be an inconvenince for the very old and should not put you off.

I booked this hotel after scouring all the hotels in Venice - this definitely had the best reviews for the money. The hotel was really lovely in a good location just 2 minutes from St Marks Square and 4 minutes from the Rialto Bridge. Our room was excellent as was the bathroom. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Hello to Kai and Andy - hope you had a good honeymoon and sorry we didn't see you to say 'goodbye'!!!
