We eventually found the hotel after a 20 minute hunt as it's not the easiest to find. Once found it’s easy to get to, and is in a nice location just out of the way of the main tourist routes.
The hotel itself was lovely and the staff very helpful although English was not their speciality. I quite liked that.
The rooms have a luxurious feel and are decorated in a typical Italian way and really add to the 'Venice' experience.
I got quite exited when I saw the Jacuzzi bath but it didn't work - this was also mentioned in a previous review, I just hoped they had fixed it.
I can’t complain as we got the room at a very reasonable price and I thought it was definately value for money.
Breakfast was bread and croissants with coffee and tea and although not special it was sufficient for fuelling yourself for a day in Venice.
Maps are supplied in each room for the guests to take and the hotel is a lovely retreat after a long day looking around.
I recommend this hotel as it had a lovely feel to it along with a great location and friendly staff.
The only negative point was that two short local phone calls from my room to the airport cost about £20. He did seem to be tapping away on his calculator a lot to get to the final price. Still, all considered, good value for money (not easy in Venice) and we would definately go back there if we ever returned.
