I traveled to Europe for three weeks in June with six other professional women aged 40 to 60. Because we don't spend a lot of time in the rooms, we didn't require the Ritz. However, we wanted something modern, clean, safe, with good service in a good central location for sightseeing. The Motel One Alexanderplatz definitely lived up to our expectations, especially trying to please seven women who have traveled extensively throughout the world. Our trip began in Berlin for the first three nights at this hotel. We were definitely pleased from the start with the easy bus system to/from the airport to the hotel, walking distance to great restaurants and bars and Museum Island, subway a block away, great clean rooms that were quiet and good service. We had originally booked the Marriott, but switched to this hotel after reading the reviews on TA and getting a great price. The rooms are not spacious, but the location can't be beat, the lobby is nice, and the rooms are very modern, comfortable, and clean. Two thumbs up, especially considering the good price!
