We booked this hotel on the strength of other reviews posted and we were not disappointed. We arrived really at 9.30 a.m. as our flight was early and although, obviously, our room wasn't ready we were able to leave our luggage there and go exploring. We checked in at 12.30 and were shown to our room. Although small, the room was exceptionally clean, had all facilities you would expect in a hotel and the view was over the quays. The room was very bright and the temperature in the room was just right - very unusual for hotel rooms. The shower was gorgeous and hot. We returned to the hotel after a night on the tiles and we had no problems sleeping. Breakfast was served the next day in the restaraunt and was very nice.
We will be returning to Dublin and will definately be staying in Eliza Lodge but we will stay for more than one night.
The hotel is not for those looking for a luxuriously bg room with spa facilities in a quiet location but for those looking for a nice hotel in a very central area this is the place. We will be back
