The Notre Dame Cathedral was one of the most visually stunning things we saw while In Montreal. There wasn't much to "do" there (there was a guided tour for $5 but we didn't have time to wait for the next one to start), but there is a lot to see! We saw the altar, the many different votive candle statuaries, the chapel in the back room (which many people apparently don't get to see), and all of the beautiful sculptures and stained glass windows. I definitely recommend at least a stop at this attraction, to take a few pictures and see a gorgeous church that you will remember the rest of your life.
