Mixed feelings about this hotel. I was originally confused because I think there was a different Novotel near the airport that obviously is no more. Thanks to tripadvisor, I knew this was a former Best Western when I booked..
I paid about $150 for one night and was satisfied. The decor and furnishings are upscale although nothing remarkable. Good bed and bedding. Staff were always helpful and pleasant.
However, it is not a full service hotel. It is a five story building off the main Airport Road strip where the other brand name hotels are - still close to the airport but feels isolated. If you don't have a car, you would feel quite isolated - very little retail or restaurants nearby without a long walk..
Only breakfast is served at the hotel. No business centre except a computer and printer in a quiet corner of the lobby. I didn't have time to check the pool and don't know where it was. The binder of hotel services in my room didn't say anything about the pool, or the breakfast.
Wi-fi was free but spotty and collapsed on me several times; the staff told me they had had problems with it for the last couple of days. No paper at my door, which I expect at better hotels, but a few copies of the Globe in the lobby.
Although you won't see any signs in the lot, parking is $10. But like other reviewers here, it wasn't difficult to get this waived.
The planes do fly right overhead, but noise is minimal; I didn't hear them at all.
Assuming you are just coming from or going to the airport, this is okay for a night. But I wouldn't stay longer, especially without a car.
