Our stay at the beach palace was amazing. They made a great first impression. We were greeted with a cold towel, champagne and a carnation for my wife when we checked in.

The hotel was very clean and the service was impeccable.

The food at the resort was delicious. All four restaurants and sports bar were great. If you just want to stay in your room they have 24 hour room service. The presentations of the dishes were first rate. I almost didn’t want to eat it, but couldn’t resist.

While we were there, we took advantage of the passport promotion that the Palace resorts are offering. We went to Chichen-Itza and Coba. Both were fun and I would recommend to everyone. The bilingual guides were fun and informative. We also went over and spent a day at the Isla Mujueres, which was beautiful. We just relaxed on the beach and in their hammocks. The lunch buffet provided was similar to the buffet at the Beach Palace.

On our last day, my wife enjoyed a body scrub treatment at the spa. She was impressed with the courtesy and professionalism of the staff. She left the spa feeling very relaxed and quite pampered!

The location of the hotel couldn’t be any more convenient. There are 4 shopping plazas and malls within a couple of blocks. We walked around and visited all of them. La Isla is just south, about 2 blocks, and Flamingo Plaza, Luxury Avenue and Kulkulcan Plaza are just north, about 3 to 4 blocks. Most shopping is duty free. All the same souvenirs at the tourist attractions can be found at the shopping plazas at better prices.

We look forwarding to going back to Cancun and especially to the Beach Palace!

Wow! Where do I begin?.......I booked our stay at the Beach Palace back in October, 2007 - long before the hotel was even completed, so when I read a bad review for this hotel, I was worried, because I tend to be among the critical. Upon arriving though, I immediately saw that my worries were unfounded. Unlike the previous person to post a review on here, our check-in was a breeze. We were greeted with glasses of champagne from very friendly people.

It was important to us to have an ocean-view room, so I had requested upper level, ocean-view through my travel agent when I booked our trip. Again, upon check-in, I didn't even make mention to my requested, and we were immediately given an ocean-view room on the 8th floor.

I have to say, that up until this point my opinion about "All-
Inclusive" hotels was very mid-level. Typiclly, it's mediocre accomidations, mediocre food & drinks, served by mediocre people. Not anymore! The Beach Palace has taken the concept of "All Inclusive" and given a new spin. All ammenities are top notch. The food was always very delicous, with a wide variety of selections to satisfy even the most desciminating palets. But I have to give all of the credit to the staff of people working for the Beach Palace. We have never come across a more friendly group of people who would go out of their way to see that you are enjoying yourself. That's what sets the Beach Palace apart from the rest of the hotels in the area! Everybody always has a smile, and is willing to go beyond the call of duty for you. In fact, the attention to your needs is so personal, that at any given time, you feel like you are the only one in the hotel.

Another wonderful thing, is that every evening, they provide some sort of entertainment on the main pool level. Sometimes it's movies, sometimes it's dancers, but every evening is different.

We also really loved the Sky Bar and rooftop pool. It's beautiful and very quiet. We went up ther in the evenings, because it tended to get pretty hot up there during the day.

In summery, I would just like to say that we had a wonderful time at the Beach Palace, and I have a hard time understanding how anybody could find any flaws in this place. We are already planning a return in the future. Anyone who has an up coming stay planned for the Beach Palace is extremely fortunate! ENJOY!!

First of all, this place has no beach, so if you like the beach, go somewhere else.

Second, the check-in at this hotel was the most unfreindly we have ever experienced, and we have been to Cancun many times. Diego, Julian and Miguel all took the attitude of what can we do to not please the customer. Diego was bossy, thinking we had to thank him for staying there. Shouldn't it be the other way around, after all, who's paying the big bucks to stay at this dump.

Finally, the food was well below average.

There are many better choices in Cancun and we give this place a zero rating.

before going to the beach palace i read the mixed reviews here on tripadvisor, and always wonder why the ratings would be so extreme for this property. however as we arrived we know that we chose the right place. we stayed at the beach palace for 5 nights and enjoyed every single day we were there. the property is clean and modern, and the service is superb. we got an ocean view room without any trouble, and the staff were all very attentive and courteous. the location is perfect for us as it's within walking distance to la isla mall, yet the area is not as busy as that at the top of the "7". we didnt spend much time at the roof top pool but service at the main pool was fast and attentive. the only reason that we give a 4 instead of 5 is the food. the selection is a bit limited and repetitive from each of the restaurants, and the quality of food was just ok. we actually found the room service food better, but not sure if it came from the same kitchen. however we did enjoy our meals as the staff were all very nice and friendly and it made up for the food. i would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants a stressless vacation in cancun.
