My fiance and I just had the pleasure of spending 3 nights at The Playa Fiesta during a scouting trip for our destination wedding. We looked at numerous hotels and villas while visitng Puerto Vallarta and hands down, nothing compared to The Playa Fiesta.
After mearly 5 minutes at the resort (and after looking at 7 other places prior to arriving) we knew we had found the perfect place for our wedding. We were fortunate enough to be there during wedding set up and were able to see how everything is layed out. This was very cool for me because I am a visual person. The bride and groom getting married that day invited us inside the hotel to see more of the suites. The suites are all very comfortable and charming, decorated with authentic Mexican design and beautiful mosaic tile. *I do have to say that I can't imagine the suites/grounds looking any better but the owners mentioned they are upgrading this summer while they are closed for the off season. An upgrade is a good thing but The Playa Fiesta is great just the way it is.
Oh, and yes... The bride invited us for a tour of the rooms ON her wedding day. That's how relaxed she was...
Adam and Lindsay were wonderful hosts from the moment we arrived and after meeting with them there was no question as to whether or not we were going to have our wedding there. They are a kind couple with a warm and welcoming nature and they really care about what they do. You can tell just from watching them interact with their staff and the guests.
The day after the wedding the bride and groom were beaming with joy. My heart was heavy as I was feeling so happy for them and also because I know I will feel that way the day after my wedding.
Since our trip I've spoken with both Adam and Lindsay pretty much a daily basis and they have been very responsive and very helpful with everything.
I hardly even received an email or phone call back from other resorts in the beginning stages but Playa Fiesta/Adam and Lindsay have very been consistant through the entire process. This is important being that I am in the United States and unable to speak with everyone and see everything in person.
If you are considering Playa Fiesta for your wedding destination just go for it :)
Cheers!
