I work in Acapulco for spring break and ask specifically to stay at the Casa Inn. The hotel staff and owners treat you like you are family, rooms are clean and very spacious, and a great complimentray breakfast buffet is served each morning. If you are lucky enough to get a room on the western side of the building there is an amazing view of the ocean and the entire bay. The location is ideal with most everything you can do in Acapulco a short cab ride away.

The person who wrote the negative review is obviously did not recognize the fact that the hotel has two sides, one that does not face the pool. Though it is true that the hotel does accomodate to spring breakers(March) just like most every other budget hotel in the resort area.

Acapluco was my real first winter break, it was 2002 but i still remember it, me and my girlfiend booked through alabtours, i cant forget the feeling when we arrived, it was so hot, unbelivable for dec 10th, we had nice time and the hotel was quite good. we have even visited the rocheta island and i remember we saw a statue of the virgin of guadalupe placed underwater: there's even an holiday dedicated to her (i think it's on dec 12th ). we've tried some watersports and even bought some nice souvenirs. i remember u can take a bus for 3 pesos per person (about 50 cents), taxi is expensive. We were close to a Wal Mart so we ve bought there everything we needed. the main street close to the beach is called Costera Miguel Aleman and it's a safe place to walk even during nights.. there are a few disco's too. We went to the famous "La perla" resturant where we have even enjoyed the cliff diving show! hotel staff is friendly and they try to help you.Before book cruises or buy everything else i suggest to look around..u can get the same things for half price.
i prefer the white sands to the yellow ones, anyway u have a long beach to walk and relax ;)

My family and I (kids 13 and 14) went down for a weeks holiday. We travel about three times a year and this place was the worst. Apparently, all of March is full of spring breakers and this hotel encourages them to stay there. We could never go in the pool because it was always full of spring breakers practicing inapproriate behaviour-ie: drinking in the pool, everyone totally hammered, contest which included girls taking their tops off and dancing around, --- ect. All rooms face the pool so even when we were out on the balcony it was in front of us. We finally moved hotels to El Cano and it was wonderful and no spring breakers. Casa Inn has no rules and everyone was partying until 4a.m. Not recommended for families!

I was a little worried after reading the current reviews, i shouldn't have been. the rooms had two double beds and large bathrooms. I took two ajoining rooms, one with a small stove, mini fridge and sink, so i could cook .
It was spring break, so if you weren't between16-21 the pool wasn't the place to be. The beach was infront of the hotel and went on for miles....I spent many hours relaxing, playing and tanning there, 40 PECOS (3-4 CANADIAN $)
got us chairs and an umbrella..THE WEATHER WAS FANTASTIC EVERYDAY. WALMART WAS RIGHT ACROSS FROM THE HOTEL, GO EVERYTHING WE NEEDED FAST( INCLUDING BOOZE). HAD A GREAT CASSINO RIGHT BESIDE IT! THE STAFF WAS GREAT AND THE BREAKFASTS WERE EXCELLENT.
My family and I would go back tomorrow. THERE WERE MORE RITZY HOTELS, BUT I'D RATHER BUY STUFF WITH ALL THE MONEY I SAVED.
