My wife and I were extremely excited about setting up the jet-boat excursion prior to our cruise. Of our excursions, we were most looking forward to this one. Peter picked us up before our scheduled time outside the Hard Rock Cafe. He was extremely friendly and we were put at ease right away. He then took us to a convenience store to pick up some frozen squid to feed the stingrays and fish for our outing. While at the convenience store he asked me to hold open the door, and I wasn't sure why, but he had seen and caught a bird that was inside the store and freed it. I felt that showed he was very kind towards animals, which again he showed throughout our excursion. Next, while taking us to the boat ramp he pointed out the sites, explained some history, and even showed us his personal residence! Now, for the jet-boat tour: I was a bit concerned about how it would ride because my wife has had some minor neck issues in the past, but this was a non-factor as you are going so fast you are just skimming across the water! Needless to say, it was a blast. Peter took us to Starfish point where we were able to observe starfish in their natural environment. Then we went to Stingray City. Peter provided us personal attention and educated us on the stingrays and we even got to feed them. I loved the personal attention and the fact that we weren't one of the 150 people on a cruise ship excursion. I could tell that other cruisers were jealous. :) We then went snorkeling. This was a phenomenal experience, once again because of the intimate experience it provided. Peter took us to a secluded part of the reef, and there was virtually no one around for miles except us. He provided the equipment, and then we followed him around. He would always point out the different fish and we even saw several lobster! After snorkeling he took us to Kaibo for a relaxing drink and conch fritters. Overall, this was by far the best excursion we did on our cruise. I really hate to put our review on here because I know that Peter may grow so popular we may not be able to schedule him in the future. If you go to Grand Cayman and do not book a tour with Fat Fish, then you are making a mistake in my opinion.
