Friday:

Woke up late and did the first thing we always do hopped in a taxi and off to Jack-N-Box...no vacation for us can truly begin til we have our Jack-N-Box tacos and jalapeno poppers!!

Went to Bally's for a bit afterwards then took the walk back to the Venetian to check out the pool. I have to say they have so many pools to choose from some that are even only 6 inches deep and have the lounge chairs sitting in the water. there were quieter areas then louder the closer you got to Tao Beach. The Palazzo pools are directly connected by a walkway and are very quiet. The areas in both were very clean and well maintained.

Headed backupstairs for a nap for our evening out. We went and met our friends at Hard Rock for dinner at Nobu it was fantastic!! Everything is made to be shared so you can get really full and not go broke at the same time. You must try this place even if you have a non sushi lover there is plenty of cooked items on the menu.

Our first stop of the night was Body English at Hard Rock we really love this place but where our host put us this time we were not really happy due to it was upstairs and on the wall it was so freaking cold up there!! We like to be in the middle of it all it is more fun for us. So we finished our bottle of Champagne and half the Bacardi sent the husbands to pick out a couple of single girls and gave our table and the other half of the Bacardi to them fo them to enjoy...we also informed one of the other hosts we were doing this so the poor girls would not get kicked out of our table.

Next Stop ROK at NYNY this place is truly our new favorite space not to big and not a bad table for bottle service in the house and their prices are better than most of the larger clubs!! The music was great the lightshow on the walls was amazing and the staff well they all ROCKED!!! We had a blast here!!

We headed to the all night cafe in NYNY American before going to bed this time really good late night spot not crowded and a big selection on the menu to choose from. Well it was off to bed for us...more later time to go to physical therapy I pay people 3 times a week to make me cry...LOL

Sounds like you should really consider bottle service on your next trip............

What's up with that, 5 references to bottle service and you've been in Vegas less than 36 hours?

I've been to Vegas twice and never gone to any clubs so it's fun to read your TR. Keep it comin.

Jack-N-Box is located in two locations in Las Vegas there is one on Tropicana behind the Excalibur/ NYNY and there is one on Flamingo and Swanson.

Saturday:

Slept really late due to this was our big event night out the Midsummer Night's Dream party at the Palms. I know we grabed lunch at the food court at the Fashion Mall across the street from the Wynn. Then went and poked around the stores for a bit then it was time to head back to our hotel to get ready for the party. The theme this year was rennisance so time to put on our costumes!! The funny looks we got when we were leaving the hotel and in the taxi line were priceless!!

We headed to the Palms to meetup with our friends for dinner at Nove Italiano, wow it was so good the guys had the NY Strips with different side sauces,I had the tortolini...yummy and my other friend had the Chicken Parm..huge!! The food and service were so good and we were not the only ones dining in our costumes.

The party was so much fun they turned the pools and bungalos all into a castle and grounds it was so cool to see!! there were acrobats, jugglers,fire eaters walking around. They had different acts go up on stage and proform for the Kings Court. They played really good music and there were different drinks free with your ticket all night. We just had so much fun...this will become an annual trip for us now!!

We then set off for Drais again around 2am and left when the sun had risen and we had to do the walk back to the Venetian still in our costumes remind you and there were already runners jogging down the strip, we were setup in a different room this time really good music as well and the staff again were great. We did bottle service again and for all of you wondering so when does the gambling take place and why do you do bottle service here you go.

We setup that the first four days of our trip would be with our friends just to party so we told our selves we would only gamble a bit during that time to be able to go out to a bunch of places and do bottle service each night. It is all about what you want your Vegas experience to be and we just wanted to party the first few nights. My mom arrives on Monday so that is when we will relax and go gamble with mommy and visit all the casinos.

Sunday:

This was the day we setup to get a daybed at Bare Pool at the Mirage. As I said before we got back to the hotel when the sun was already up so we only got a couple of hours of sleep before we went across the street at 11am to begin our pool day.

We got a daybed up on the VIP level nice and large also had a little table and two ottoman seats also included a fridge for the day. We ordered pitcher service which was so cool you could pick from Mojitos, Bloody Marys or Sangria for $55 each or you could choose any of the cocktails from their specialty menu for I think the price was $66 they were so good and to us worth the price!!

They also serve food there really good sandwiches they are really big though and each come with a bag of chips if you are not a big eater then I suggest you just split it. We also ordered chips and salsa and the fruit plate which was great to snack on thru the day.

The pool itself was great there is one pool up on the VIP level that was a regular tempature pool but has jaquzzi jets in it oh my I could have stayed in there all day so relaxing!! There is a larger pool on the main level which was a good size. The atmosphere at the pool is very relaxed all the staff is very friendly and attentive. Yes people to take their tops off and it is quite a few of them...me included..who wants tan lines..LOL!! There were no weirdos just hanging out gawking.

The lounge chairs looked really comfy they are padded with a thick cushion if you opt to reserve them just thought I would pass that along. They started to bring around free hotdogs and hamburgers up to our level around 4pm they looked so yummy but it was time to leave and go take a nap due to we somehow forgot to just lay back and sleep we were to busy talking to other people and our friends.

We were going to meetup with some other people we met over the weekend at Bank that night at the Bellagio so time to get some shuteye. Well we woke up around 8pm and feeling completly dead to the world!! Called up our friends and they were feeling the same way so we went to meet them at Pink Taco at Hard Rock to have dinner. The appetizers were really good and so was the chips and salsa but the main courses were just ok don't think we will dine here again.

We were all wiped out and I just could not keep my eyes open so we decided the guys would go to Bank to meetup with the other group and well the girls each went back to our rooms and passed out for the night!!!The guys reported back that Bank was fun but not a place that would be a must hit on our trips to Vegas. Well friends leave Monday and Mommy arrives time to start to gamble!!

I like ready trip reports from others here who do and experience different activities that we do...Mr. Ducky and I are getting to the age we don't do the pools and clubs, BUT I do remember the day. sigh

I am enjoying your trip...more, more :)

Monday:

My friends leave and my Mommy arrives!!! This trip was originally planned to spend my mommy's birthday in Vegas, so this part of out trip report is the nice and relaxing part of our trip.

Mom arrives early from Indy on Southwest Airlines she said it was a very good trip and she will never fly out of Chicago agian if she doesn't have to. She called the day or two before to Harrahs to let them know she would have an early arrival and when she got to the hotel around 9am her room was ready. I met them at their room to check it out and it was smaller than most of the places we had stayed but it was very nicely decorated all updated and a large window that brings in alot of light. Mom said the bed was really comfy too.

To start our day we all went to Harrah's buffet Crave, I have to say this was the best breakfast buffet we have been to so much variety and nothing looked greasy or unfresh and ooooo the dessert case WOW they even had different gelatos and ice creams and cotton candy we will definatly eat here again!!!

We played at Harrah's for along time it was fun and very clean and the cocktails hostesses are very attentive. We mostly stayed by the penny section there are some really different games there that we kept winning little amounts on. my favorite is even if I am not winning big the machine lets me play for awhile.

By mid afternoon we were all ready for a nap so we went our seperate ways for awhile. Had mom meet us at the Venetian for dinner where we went to the Grand Luxe, the menu is so large and has such variety on there is something for everyone. We started with the double baked potato spring rolls they were out of this world!! For entrees there was the Chicken Pot pie good but had a bit to much rosemary in it,the steak sandwich which was really good, the Sunday Spagetti which again really good and Slow cooked Short Ribs they were good I was just looking for a different flavor for the gravy on top. All around good food, good service and an excellent price.

We then went and played the slots around the venetian and the Palazzofor a bit there is alot of variety of table games and slots in both of these place but not as quick with cocktail service as at Harrah's. We had alot of fun, but the day caught up with my mommy and she headed off to sleep around 10pm.

On that note we were not tired at all so decided to go meet some people we had met over the last couple of days at Jet at the Mirage. I have to say the place was packed...this is the place to be on Monday nights. The group had a table right on the dance floor it was fun and really good music but a bit to packed for my taste could not really leave our spot to dance and the dance floor was so packed you could really not dance comfortably any where. To leave around 1am it was almost impossible to get thru the crowds to exit.

we then went back to our hotel and all the bars were already closed...Sushi Samba...Dos Caminos and so on so that was our cue it is time to sleep.
