This is THE best restaurant in Madison and maybe the whole Midwest. We eat there about 2 or 3 times a year as it is pricey, but the food is fantastic. The wait staff is very congenial and professional. Never had a bad meal in 30 years!! more

Yum! If you experience one dining "event" in Mad Town, let this be it. Elegant, but unpretentious. Decadent, but not overwhelming. Artistic, deliberate wine list. Superb ingredients. Just love it. more

I cannot say enough good things about L'Etoile. The food is absolutely to die for. Their flavors are complex and fresh. They use local food and buy a lot of it at the Dane County Farmer's Market.
