It's a bit pricey but worth it! The food was excellent. The sourdough bread... yum. I think I ate 2 loaves worth. Everything was so great. I highly recommend this restaurant if you have the funds! more

Bruce was our waiter. If you have been here and had him you know-Wow! Wonderful service with a quick whit. The location on the wharf with a great view and the decor inside blended with a lovely dinner cannot be beat. We tried other establishments on Fisherman's Wharf and they were fair to good. This was by far the best... more
We visited Scoma's because it had been recommended. I ordered sauteed shellfish but it wasn't so much a meal as an enormous pile of food on a plate. Pasta, rice, vegetables, scallops, squid, shrimp, squat lobster tails. It was luke warm and there was so much piled on the plate it was difficult to eat, especially as the fish hadn't... more
Went here after a local recommendation. Nice location, just back off the main drag. It was busy so we had a drink at the bar and were seated within 10 minutes. The menu was large and varied. We had the Lazy Man’s Cioppino (with the crab meat out of the shell) and a fish of the day. Both were very... more
The Crab Louie Salad you will die for. Plus it's on the lunch fixed price menu. Old style with waiter dressed in nice tux. :-) more
Have been here a couple of times while visiting SF. It's in the heart of Fisherman's Wharf, which means lots of tourists. Nevertheless, it's pretty good, particularly for seafood. The service is good and the location can mean a nice view of the bay. more
the food was pretty good...ive travelled all over the world and have had better seafood in europe, maine, and florida. But i have to say, it was still nice to have some goo seafood. it was a bit crowded, but what do you expect in the middle of a tourist trap lol. the service was great and they give you... more
Our party of 5 arrived at 5:30 before sunset and were given a view of the bridge. Our waiter was older and excellent. He got personal with our picky eater, made excellent suggestions that this youngster was happy with and allowed us time to make up our minds. This was our first time at Scoma's and we ended up being... more
They pack you in like sardines and provide you with the ambience of an upscale diner. The food was ridiculously overpriced and overcooked. If you're looking for a decent tourist trap with excellent ambience and great seafood, Tadich is still the spot . more
Scoma's was recommended to me by a family member, so my husband and I stopped by the last night of our stay in San Fran for what we expected to be the best dinner yet going by the hype. The wait was long on a Tuesday night, possibly because there was a huge convention in town. We waited for about... more
