Stopped by tonight out of curiosity.. Ordered a 16" House Special pizza with a pitcher of beer. The pizza toppings seemed like they were finely ground in a blender, with only the sausage visible. The sauced tasted more like a green pepper based chili than a pizza sauce. ewww...not good. I like to see identifiable pieces of toppings, not mush.... more

I've been going to Sammy's for years before Packer games and have never had a bad experience. Even had dinner at a table next to Bart Starr after a Packer game one year. Only in Green Bay!!! more

Nothing to write home about here. I have to admit, it's been about 4 years since I was there, but there was nothing going on to make me think it would improve. Pizza is strictly average. more

I am born and raised in Green Bay and remember my parents taking me to the original Sammys on Walnut Street in downtown Green Bay. I stood there and watched Al Crispigna make the pizza right there behind the glass. I could hardly walk out of the place I was so full!!! I always overeat when I go there even... more

Sammy's is one of my favorite pizza places in Green Bay. It's right by the stadium and Resch Center. It's a true thin crust pizza. It is a little more pricier than other placed, but it's an excellent pizza! more
