Absolutely fabulous. Just got back from a week at the wonderful Ritz Carlton San Juan. The location is ideal (close to airport) and the entire staff was very attentive, professional and genuinely friendly. The staff went out of their way to make sure my stay was perfect. We really expected a Ritz experience and it was closer to a Holiday Inn experience (no offense to Holiday Inn). We were given a room next to the air-conditioning unit which was pretty loud at night. We stay at Ritz Carltons every time we travel. I agree with other reviewers that this particular property is not on par with other Ritz Hotels, despite the $700 p/night (very small and umimpressively appointed) room. The staff was accomodating enough, but not nearly as consistently cutomer-service oriented as the staff at a typical Ritz (and we're pretty low-maintenacce guests!).... more

The best thing about this hotel is the people! We stayed at the club level which I highly recommend. With drinks at $15 a pop at the hotel bar, the club level easily paid for itself.
