We booked this trip last minute and chose the hotel based on Trip Advisor reviews. We made a good choice - it's a great hotel. We had a twin room. Very clean and fairly spacious, with very comfortable beds. Bathroom was also very good. The location of this hotel is also great; close to all the major attractions, but in... more

Just returned from our long weekend in NYC. We booked our trip through American Express Travel and decided on The Iroquois based on the reviews and ratings on TripAdvisor. The combo room and airfare rates were better than booking through any other source I found, though they do seem to change daily - so, plan ahead and book 4-5 weeks... more

Right upon arriving, I encountered the best thing possible: a free upgrade to a suite. Since I was travelling with just a friend, it could not have been more welcome. The place is sumptuous, the service is discreet, and for lovers of "boutique" hotels I can't imagine anything better. Of course the amenties are appropriate to this size of hotel,... more

I can’t say enough good things about the Iroquois! It’s a small and quiet jewel, just blocks away from Times Square. Although the rooms are consistently clean, comfortable and well appointed, it’s the staff that makes the Iroquois feel like a home-away-from-home. The genuinely warm hospitality I receive every time I stay is rarely found elsewhere— especially in New York.... more

First trip to New York not sure what to expect - hotel in perfect location for all sights, room was a deluxe on 6th floor facing 44th street, clean, quite spacious as far as rooms go, bathroom very nice and spacious, nice touch - fresh coffee in reception every morning so you can nip down and bring back to room.... more

My young daughter and I stayed at the Iroquois for a trip to NYC and we were extremely pleased. The rooms were clean, the staff were all extremely helpful and friendly and the location was perfect. We were only a couple of blocks from Times Square yet the hotel was quiet and peaceful. They even left some goodies in our... more

We searched expedia for the perfect hotel while we were in New York. We looked at the reveiws and judged the Iroquois the hotel that meet our desires. We wanted a hotel close to times square yet within walking distance to as many places as possible. We liked the charm of a vintage hotel which protrayed the romance of early... more

At about $400 for a Saturday night stay, my expectations were pretty high for the Iroquois. While it didn’t disappoint, it didn’t exceed either. I can’t quibble with the location; it is in the Theater District without the cacophony of Times Square and provides easy walking to great restaurants and to Grand Central Terminal. The room was about as small... more

Stayed six nights on business. The hotel is an oasis of calm in hustle and hassle of Manhatten. The staff is excellent. The rooms are clean and well kept. A good nights sleep every night. more

As has been written before this is a great central location for a lot of the sights and Broadway. The highlights for me were the rooms which were comfortable, quiet and a reasonable size compared to some I have stayed in in NY as well as the check-in and concierge staff who couldn't have been more helpful. Another plus was... more
