My husband and I unexpectedly happened upon this beautiful Victorian inn at Cape May, New Jersey. From the minute we entered this charming elegantly decorated home with all its artistic attention to detail and furnishings of the period, we knew that we wanted to remain and experience the ambience. We stayed in the carriage house portion of the inn. The... more

We had a lovely three day stay at the John Wesley Inn. The accomodations were excellent. The inn is beautifuly decorated and very comfortable. Much planning and attention to every detail was evident. Bonnie is a delight, friendly and charming. We enjoyed our conversations with her. She was a wonderful hostess and we are looking forward to our next visit.... more

The Inn is attractive and clean - BUT there are too many rules and restrictions. We went with another couple. After dinner we like to play games and visit since they live a significant distance from us. There are only two common rooms and both are not to be used after 9:00 p.m. The only choice is to stay in... more

On the way back from visiting Family we stoped at the John Wesley Inn at Cape May. What a treat! Clean neat and the Inn Keepers Bonnie & Lance go out of there way to make your stay the best. Breakfast was wonderful, and the table was beautiful set with fall decorations. The sun room was a relaxing place for... more

There's a certain spirit around the John Wesley Inn, an indescribable feeling of warmth and peacefulness that surrounded me from the moment I walked through the front door. I tried to discern whether it was some item I saw that comforted me, a perfumed scent that I unconsciously recognized or if was the sound of classical music wafting through the... more

My fiance and I just got back from a wonderful time at the John Wesley Inn. The inn is beautiful, ultra clean, and very well maintained with a lot of attention to detail. The owners are Bonnie and Lance. Although we didn't see much of Lance, he was very friendly. Bonnie is to die for! She was made for this.... more

My husband and I were about to celebrate our 5 year wedding anniversary, and we chose the John Wesley Inn based upon all the great reviews on TripAdvisor. This was our first trip to Cape May, and our first stay at a B&B, and the standard has been set very high! Our hostess Bonnie was friendly and welcoming, and she... more

We love visiting Cape May, NJ for a quick getaway to relax and slow down from our active daily lives. We've stayed in many types of accommodations over the past two years, but none compared to the quaint, charming John Wesley Inn. From start to finish, Bonnie & Lance (Inn Keepers) were relaxed, pleasant and passionate about what they do.... more

We received a gift certificate to the John Wesley Inn as a wedding gift. When I called to make our reservation, Bonnie answered and I knew immediately that it would be a great experience. She was warm and friendly over the phone and provided immediate follow-up via email to confirm our reservation. I emailed her again just before our visit... more
