This is the 13th B&B I've visited in Cape May, though the Carroll Villa is more along the lines of a historic 'boutique' hotel. In all my visits to local inns, I've met some wonderful people and the owner of the Carroll Villa, Mark Kulkowitz, is high on that list. He and his family, both relatives and adopted relatives (he... more

We stayed at the Carroll Villa because of our 13 year old daughter. She loves the Mad Batter and she wanted to stay at the hotel. It was wonderful. Extremely clean and cozy, we had a room on the 3rd floor that accomodated all of us. It had the "antique" feel with all of the modern conveniences. Breakfast is included... more

We loved our stay at the Carroll Villa and enjoyed the food at the Mad Batter immensely. The rooms were filled with amenities. We didn't need flat screen HD in our room because we don't go on vacation to watch TV. The only problem is there is no valet parking. We had real problems with that. The directions to the... more

Just returned from a two night/three day stay at the Carroll Villa for our 10th anniversary. We stayed in room 20, which was beautiful and cozy. We loved sitting out on our porch overlooking picturisque Jackson Street. Everyone that passes by says hello or admires our own private porch. It really was so convenient being attached to the Mad Batter,... more

This B&B was comfortable and clean, plus the location (half block from the beach and half block from the shops and restaurants) was just perfect for our walks. Their country breakfast was delicious and we enjoyed the fantastic dinner at their restaurant as well (Mad Batter). Came back from a stroll through the mall of stores and settled in at... more

The Carroll Villa is a fantastic place to stay in Cape May. We loved every minute we were there. I would rate it higher than 5 if I could. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. Our room was beautiful, quilt on the bed, flowered wallpaper. embroidered shower curtain, flat screen TV, and a beautiful view of Jackson Street. The breakfast... more

My husband and I stayed at Carroll Villa for our anniversary - our first trip to Cape May. We loved it! The room was cozy and very clean, the staff was friendly, the shared spaces were nice & welcoming, the inclusion of breakfast (or lunch) was wonderful, and the B&B is in a great location (very close to beach, restaurants,... more

I stayed at the Carroll Villa Bed and Breakfast from September 22 to September 25. My room was on the 3rd floor of the place, it was facing the front of the hotel, very quiet, with two windows, it has a ceiling fan and light, it was really nice. The parking was 4 blocks away, but I was disappointed that... more
