I love the IP, my husband and I stay there every trip we make to vegas. It is located in the heart of the strip and connects to the railway system. The blackjack tables are awesome! This definately isn't a hotel with all the bells and whistles, but come on people it's vegas, you shouldn't be hanging out in your... more

After reading all the negative reviews, we stayed here over Halloween weekend. I was skeptical at first but overall enjoyed my stay. We gave the front desk attendant $20 and asked for a good room and recieved it. It was recently remodled and faced the pool. It was also right by the elevator. Pros: Great Location Great 24 hour room... more

We stayed at the IP recently. We knew it wasn't a great hotel, but the location is great and the price was right and all we were looking for was a place to sleep....unfortunately we didn't even get that. We booked the cheaper capri room, unaware that all rooms border onto the parking garage warehouse area, which operates 24 hours... more

The Imperial Palace (IP) is one of my absolute favorite places in the world. I really don't know what the problem is with all of the whiney, crotchety, crankypants reviews on here. Here are some things to remember: 1. The Imperial Palace has got, hands down, the BEST location on the strip. It is right where you want to be.... more

This is a very old property and has not been updated since at least the 70s. I booked a deluxe room. I'd hate to see a classic or capri room. Very outdated. Sink and shower did not drain properly. You had to PAY for ice! The noise from Carnival Court at Harrah's was very loud. The one and only good... more

I booked the IP as I am a member of the Harrah's Player's Card (3 years) and the IP came under them recently (I've stayed at all the locations except RIO and Caesar's). I had a comp for 5 nights to attend the Big Smoke and SEMA show. At check in (11:30 pm) I was able to upgrade my room... more

We stayed at the imperial palace because it was the most affordable place on the strip. Last time we went to Las Vegas we stayed on Freemont street and loved it. We should have done that again. The Imperial Palace is like a maze when you are trying to check in if you do not use the Valet. There was... more

We stayed at the Imperial Palace Nov 7 - 10 while in town to attend the Cigar Aficionado Big Smoke. When we arrived there was a long line to check in, but it moved fairly quickly and took only about 15 - 20 minutes. The woman at the check-in desk was friendly and checked on an upgrade for me. We... more

THIS is my home when I come to Vegas. IP makes it possible for me to stay a tad longer than other places would due to their reasonable prices and one of their casino hosts, Bob Cohen is one wonderful guy! He may be extremely busy but he will always help you in any way he can. I have never... more

The Hotel is very well located, on the best of the Strip! It's in front of Caesar's, and next to Paris, Bellagio, Venetian..... It's got a monorail station and complementary parking. Rooms are not that new, but as clean as possible. Requested a non-smoking de-luxe room (got a king size bed). Shower was great. Had no trouble with elevators (stayed... more
