My wife attended a conference at the JW Marriott. I joined her there for a few days. Overall, my experience was "mixed". I would not recommend it. The hotel made a good first impression. Lovely grounds, very nice lobby area, pleasant check-in staff, and spacious well-appointed room & bath. The longer I was there, the more that little things began... more

I stayed in the hotel in the Palm Tower to 2 nights. I did not smell cigarette smoke anywhere in Palm Tower, but the Casino was a little smoky. I actually enjoyed the casino because I am not much of a gambler and the people working the tables were more than happy to guide me along and teach me some... more

This is the place to skip when going to Vegas. They should rip the "JW" off the building as this place is barely a Marriott in terms of quality. I'll start with the grounds - they happen to be nice. And the staff was very friendly. The rooms were a contrast in good and bad. I'll start with the good:... more

My wife and I stayed at the Marriott during a recent trip to Vegas . We wanted to stay off the strip for a change but also play some golf and the location was ideal. The hotel and casino are close to each other but virtually separate and it is possible to use most of the facilities without going through... more

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a rock climbing vacation in October. The hotel is an easy (10 minute) drive from Red Rock Canyon. We had originally wanted to stay at the Red Rock Resort ("RRR"), but it was booked up for some of our days. Last time we were here, we stayed at the RRR, which was fabulous.... more

Fantastic Stay with Great Service! We have traveled to Las Vegas to celebrate my husband’s birthday and our wedding anniversary for the last 7 years. This was our 3rd stay at the JW during that time and we have decided that all of our future Vegas stays will be here. The staff was and has been the best we have... more

I attended a pharmaceutical investigators meeting this past weekend (October 2008) at the JW Marriott Resort and Spa . SOME COMMENTS: * Entire resort smelled of smoke. * Do Not stay if you have allergies. Smoke was enough to make you sick. * In order to use the spa, you must enter into the smoke infested Casino. * All floors... more

I stayed here for one night and found the experience to be just okay. The hotel was horribly understaffed; it took forever to get the front desk to answer the phone, 10 minutes for the valet to retrieve the car , and there was absolutely no one to be found by the pool for help with towels. The hotel has... more

My wife and I stayed at the Marriott for two nights in late September. Whoever designed the rooms at this hotel knew what travelers today want most – plenty of space. As other reviewers have noted, the bedrooms and bathrooms here are extremely spacious and we loved it. We didn’t want the hustle and bustle of the Strip and enjoyed... more

Hubby & I just got back from a night at the JW Marriott. We booked it through Expedia for a decent rate. The hotel itself is large, and is connected to a casino. We LOVED the room, especially the bathroom; both were suprisingly large, and the bathroom was fabulous - giant jacuzzi tub (big enough for two!) and shower. (The... more
