we came down for a weekend with friends and loved Caberete. Great restaurants within walking distance and the nightlife on the beach was clean, safe and fun..the hotel had a great staff and the housekeeping did a great job. quick flight over and close to the airport..we will return the same time next year.. more

We have stayed at Velero five times now. We typically get a two bedroom suite on the third floor. Very nice and helpful staff. Great location. Attractive pool and nice cute restaurant on the water. Great prices for the value! Cabarete is our family's favorite somewhat undiscovered gem. more

Good friends who own property on Dominican Republic highly recommend Velero Beach and we were not disappointed. An absolutely wonderful, full service hotel on the shores of the Carribean.
