spent 15 days at the claridge, a really refreshing spot in the heart of Centro, the bustling centre of Buenos aires where most tourists find themselves in. wonderful decor, very good food, and for lovers of boutique "old victorian", the place to be. most hotels in BA have impressive lobbies and entrances, but are really dumps behind the fancy facades...... more

We stayed at the Claridge for 8 nights and felt safe there. Our room was on the 6th floor at the back overlooking the pool. The room was a good size with large wardrobes and comfortable bed but the decor was a little tired. Although the bathroom was small it was well appointed and the daily maid service was of... more

We spent a total of seven nights at the Claridge as a base in Buenos Aires. The hotel has a number of good points: very helpful front desk staff, a great spa, a reasonable breakfast (though no fresh omelettes offered) and a good afternoon tea. It is also quite stylish looking. However, as others have noted, the rooms are on... more

When you arrrive at the hotel it is very impressive, it is a gorgeous looking building from the outside and the reception and bar area is fine. The staff were very friendly and helpful (with the exception of just 1), but the rooms?! It has to be the worst room I have ever stayed in, it was soo small there... more

We just returned home from a trip to BA and must say the Claridge was a disappointment. We stayed at the Mine Hotel (highly recommend) for the first part of trip and concluded our visit at the Claridge. The location was good and the front desk was helpful.......BUT, the rooms were very small, dingy and very stuffy. You can tell... more

Concierge was excellent and always ready to assist and make recommendations. Location was excellent within walking distance everywhere. The room was large and very comfortable. Daily breakfast buffet was varied and delicious. My first formal afternoon tea and it was a lovely experience. This hotel is a great value for the money. Planning a return trip next year. more

The rooms are tiny and in need of renovation. Everything was dingy. Walls are paper thin. Several times I thought the people next door or in the hall were actually in my room! The bed was terribly uncomfortable...very lumpy. I would have slept on the floor had it not been so dirty. The room was very warm and stuffy (they... more

I stayed 7 nights altogether with a break in the middle. The hotel is lovely and the staff are exceptionally helpful. My only complaint is that the first room was next to the staff service lift and corridor and was very noisy on and off from 7.30am through to 11pm,(room 413). The second room was noisy because it was an... more

We stayed at the Claridge for a family wedding. Our family had 4 rooms booked for 9 days and they were all excellent. Maybe a little over perfumed, but very clean. All had a safe which was essential.. Several other friends stayed as well and we all got great rooms. Some changed rooms which was no hassle. Staff were friendly... more
