Very good value for money.. Less than an hour from Don Muang or Suwannaphum airports. Nice clean rooms, free WIFI and conference facilities. There's a number of restaurants to chose from with the breakfast buffet the best I've experienced in any Bangkok hotel in this price range. Although the main tourist area isn't outside your front door, the MRT underground... more
Stayed here for 2 nights in mid-August, it was part of an Asian tour package. The decor of the lobby and the room were very nice. Size of the rooms were a good size, big bed, desk, and the bathroom had a stand up shower and a bath tub. In general the room we stayed in was clean and nice.... more
I travel to Bangkok quite often on business trips and always stay at the ChaoPhya Park Hotel. This hotel is located at Rachadapisek Road, about 40 mins drive from town (depending on the traffic condition). The main reason why I stay there is because: 1) it's quiet. 2) the rooms are very clean and the bathroom is big with a... more
My partner and i love this Hotel. This was our second visit and will use it again as we find it an excellent choice for us as the underground station is just 50metres down the road which gives us connections to virtually all Bangkok. The Hotel itself is on the outskirts but is very clean and well run and the service second... more
This hotel is has everything I like in a hotel when I travel internationally - it is CLEAN, convenient and inexpensive. It is not in the very center of Bangkok, but it is very close to the subway (I think three small city blocks or less??). It takes maybe 15-20 min on the subway to get to the downtown attractions.... more
I was not a fan of this hotel. The rooms smelt awful. So much so that the first night I had trouble sleeping. I did have good facilities though. The gym and pool were good. The buffet breakfast was standard for a Bangkok hotel. It is defiantly on the outskirts of Bangkok and if you don't want to eat at... more
We stayed for two nights (7th – 8th Sept 06) and really enjoyed it before our trip to Chiang Mai. We were warmly welcomed by all the staff that couldn't do enough for us. The entrance to the Hotel is a large and airy open space with large Thai style light designs suspended from the ceiling. Our luggage was delivered... more
We stayed at the Chaophya Park Hotel in late June. The hotel was on the busy Ratchadapisek Rd. but the part near the airport. The hotel lobby looked very Thai traditional with some contemporary flare. The marble reception area was very inviting. The staff at the hotel spoke limited english including the on-duty managers, but they were all very willing... more
The room is really nice, loved it-no complain.Staff are really nice & helpful smiling most of the time. Buffet breakfast is great with lots of choices. Location is a bit far from downtown, quiet surrounding otherwise easily accessible since mrt station Ratchadaphisek is nearby-10min walk. One can get off at Sukhumvit station and connect to skytrain at Asoke. Chatuchak weekend market... more
