I booked into this hotel for 4 nights and checked out after the first night. Great service but the hotel is very dated/old, rooms are clean but furnishings are old. I stayed in the mercure in Phuket for the previous week and expected this to be the same standard but was very dissapointed with the room. Good price but better... more

We stayed at this hotel after checking out of the Ambassador which our travel agent had booked for us. Could not fault anything at the hotel. Rooms are decent size with all facilities. Small but clean pool. Breakfast buffet was out of this world. Definetely exceeded our expectations. Worth more than its current two star rating and excellent value for... more

I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights in October 2008 As with other reviews there was a musty smell to the whole room. I purchased some Glade Air Freshener spray from the closest 7Eleven.....and the musty smell only disappeared when I sprayed the curtains.(???) Other than that the room was clean and neat. I did not try the food.....so... more

My husband and I spent two nights in this hotel in August 2008, as part of a honeymoon trip. Hotel location is really good, very near the skytrain station and taxis are just outside. Walking distance from the Emporium shopping center and with approx 65Baht by taxi to the rest of the main shopping centers. Being in a Soi (smaller... more

Went to Bangkok for a short weekend trip and got a bargain deal for a standard room. Location is excellent, close to Emporium Shopping Mall. It's in the middle of 2 BTS stations, Nana (E4) and Phrom Phong (E5), both directions take at least 10 minutes. As it is located well in Soi22 (small path/road), you need to walk 5... more

This hotel (previously called The Jade Pavilion) was our first introduction to Bangkok and SE Asia, and at the time we were incredibly impressed with everything regarding this amazing city. The hotel was spotlessly clean and our room gave a stunning view over the rooftops of Bangkok. The lobby is relatively small, as is the bar area. Buffet breakfast was... more

Before staying in the Grand Mercue Park Avenue, I read lots of bad reviews bout this hotel. I got worried, but till I reached the hotel, the actual picture was not as bad as what others reviewed it to be. It was not all that 'grand' but the hotel was not all as bad either. I have to give some... more

This was a great place to stay and well located for exploring Bangkok. It is very close to public transport options and shopping. The breakfast was well proportioned and room was comfortable with internet. You should have no problems staying here. more

We checked if there were available rooms on the morning we checked out from a hotel with terrible experience. We managed to get a deluxe room and it was fast. After booking it online, we made our way to the hotel by foot and from there, we were given out room. Our first room was a handicap room and within... more
