This was my first stay at the JW in BKK, normally I stay at the Hyatt but the rate there has become too expensive. You can get a suite at the JW for just a bit more than an executive room at the Hyatt. The JW was a very nice and clean hotel, the executive lounge is second to none!... more

Stayed here on business and had access to the executive lounge, which was open 0600-2400 with drinks and snacks always available. Very nice, varied breakfast, afternoon tea, and evening canape's/hors d'oeuvres that were themed after a different Asian country each night. (I don't know if this access is customary or complimentary as hotel occupancy was very low due to political... more

My husband and I cashed in Marriott points we've both been busy accumulating over the last year for 3 nights @ JW Marriott Bangkok. Very upscale, the staff is extremely accomodating. This is definitely more for the business-minded traveler. If you are looking for an authentic Thai accomodation this is not it. We were thrilled to have a cool high-end... more

We have just returned from a one night stay at this hotel. We had an executive room on the 12th floor overlooking the pool which appeared to have been recently refurbished as the decor was stylish and the room itslef was very clean and fresh. There is a fabulous gym/exercise studio and spa on the 6th floor and an oudoor... more

The J.W. Mariott in Bangkok is a suberb hotel. The service is impeccable from front to end. The rooms are in perfect condition, nice, clean and simply enjoyable for the business traveller. The overall design of the hotel is very appealing. The restaurants offer great food at reasonable prices by European standards. The overall service provided at this hotel is... more

We stayed for the second time at the JW Marriott Hotel in Bangkok and I must say that the hotel standards seem to have deteriorated somewhat. Firstly, at the airport, the hotel limosine we booked through the Marriott website did not arrive to greet us when we came out of the arrivals hall! Thats a first bad impression. The information... more

Having stayed at the JW Marriott hotel in Phuket in the past, I expected something equally amazing in Bangkok. The hotel has a reputation as a top-class, five star hotel in a very central party of Bangkok. I was a little disappointed though, for several reasons: - You really could be anywhere in the world here. The only thing that... more

Recently stayed at JW Marriott in Bangkok. I have stayed at a number of Marriott hotels, but this is without doubt the best i have experienced. The staff was awesome, the location excellent, and while a little on the expens side the japanese restaurant was great. The gym was really well equipped and they were happy to run an aerobics... more

I have traveled frequently to Bangkok over the past several years and this is the BEST place to stay. The staff is extraordinarily friendly and helpful, the rooms are spotless, the ambiance is wonderful. I have never had a bad experience at the JW. Also, it is convenient for shopping - if you want to get some soft drinks or... more

I took a last minute vacation to Bangkok and Koh Lanta. I booked my stay at the JW Marriot just two days in advance because I hadn't investigated the city all that much and thought I'd be best with an upscale "western" style hotel. The JW Marriot was fine in terms of accomodations but overpriced and inconvenient to tourist attractions.... more
