No-one can enjoy a visit to Marrakech unless one stays at the Riad Safa, for the welcome given by Jean-Michel and Frederic was amongst the most memorably warm and genuine I have experienced anywhere in the world. They have created an oasis of calm in the whirly-gig that is Marrakesh and it was a delight to return to soothing, tasteful... more

My hubbie and I with our 2 friends had a fab time at the Riad Safa. We were greeted by John Michel and Frederic also Peggy and Kermit their dog and cat with mint tea and biscuits. Both our rooms were lovely and we felt right at home as all the Riad with it's cozy lounges are open to their... more

What more can we add! My wife and I booked directly with Frederic and Jean-Michel, they were extremely efficient and helpful, even booking us into a neighbouring Riad for the first night of our stay, as they were full that night. The taxi was there to collect us from the airport as promised and the driver helped us all the... more

Frederic and Jean-Michel run the most perfect oasis of calm and tranquiity in the busy bustling city that is Marrakech. Having read the great reviews on this site, I found their website and sent them an e-mail and the swift response made up my mind. They were happy to arrange pick-up from the airport and arriving in the beautiful Riad... more

My girlfriend and I had never been to Morocco, or even Africa, before this trip so were slightly nervous about going. However, when we arrived at the Riad, it absolutely blew us away. The interior is so beautiful and open letting in a lot of light. Jean-Michel and Frederik are the people who run it and they are absolutely brilliant... more

This place is not about money, it really reminded me what it is that makes a great place to stay, simply hospitality. Coming from london and surrounded by cynics I wasc taken aback by the sheer consideration and helpfulness of the two guys who run it. If you want to be treated like a prima donna then go somewhere else and... more

This is the most wonderful, wonderful find. Went on the recommendation of a friend -- and so glad we did. It is stylish and spotlessly clean, and the owners fall over themselves to be helpful. We ate in one night and had a delicious meal. All in all remarkably good value. Suffice to say, we definiitely plan to go back... more

I don't know where to start! - I thought this place was simply wonderful...and for the price - unbeatable. Seeing as I don't know where to start, I'll try the beginning. From booking, the owners of this lovely house (and it really is lovely) could not do enough for us, they arranged our transfers, booked our excursions, booked restaurants, made... more

The Riad, the owners and the staff are fantastic. It is a small Riad, only 5 rooms, but very well designed and comfortable. For people who prefer a smaller, more personal experience. Very central and the roof top spa is a plus. We spent a very enjoyable week there. Make sure you have dinner at the Riad one night, the... more

The place is ok, but just so. I was extremely impressed by the reviews, which was the key reason I booked the stay. The rooms look much better on the photos. The place is quaint and cute, if you know what I mean, but stay away if you are not into domestic animals, and especially if you have allergies. Also,... more
