The Marriott Wardman Park is a gigantic convention hotel, teeming with people and conferences. It is busy all the time. The hotel is divided into three towers (not two, as a reviewer mentioned below): Wardman, Central, and Park. I was very glad to be housed in the Wardman Tower, even if it was a bit of a walk, because it... more

We stayed 2 nights in November, a Sunday and Monday. The hotel is split into two towers, Central and Wardman. They are significantly different. The Central tower is like a typical business hotel while the Wardman tower is more luxurious and has finer furnishings and gardens etc. We stayed in the central tower as no option was given. Even though... more

Beautiful hotel in a fantastic section of the city. I stayed here for a conference so my work paid, but it was a reasonable $179/night. Brought my husband and two young kids so we could go to the zoo, which is a short but uphill walk from the hotel. Our room was in the Wardman tower, which is the older... more

I first thought it was the nicest place I've evre stayed. As the first day went by, actually, the first 5 minutes, I knew it was to good to be true. My first room, located in the far back on the 8th floor, had a terrible water leak problem in the tub. In fact, it wasn't a leak, it was... more

Stayed for a work related convention. Nice hotel. A leisurely 10-15min walk to the Zoo. Excellent eateries right across the street. Very nice gym for those who workout. Hotel web page picture shows the Park Tower building of the hotel which is beautiful but we were assigned the Central Tower which is more business like (see attached picture). The metro... more

It's very nice looking and the staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and nice. The bathroom is a little on the small side, but not enough to matter all that much to me. I wouldn't eat at the restaurants inside the hotel. Either use the small market or go to any of the nearby places. The hotel... more

I managed to get a rate of $150/night for this hotel, and it was worth every penny. The staff was terrific. This hotel is huge. Once was situated here, I had no problem finding my way around. It's also right next to the Metro, which was great. The room was well decorated, there were lots of outlets for laptops, chargers,... more

We stayed at the Wardman Park Marriott June 29 -July 3. Our room in the central tower was spacious and newly decorated. Noise was not a problem. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our meal at Harry's pub was good, but the breakfast buffett at the Stone's Throw restaurant was overpriced. Metro stop was right next door making travel into... more

The Wardman Park hotel is huge. Simply huge. There are three towers, all with varying degrees of new-ness to them. The rooms are nicely decorated and well maintained. The beds are ultra comfortable, although my bathroom was tight (you couldnt have the door open and take a shower, otherwise the door blocked your access to the tub). The signage and... more
