Stayed at the Altamont for 4 nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. First trip to Sydney and although its not mega-central its within walking distance of pretty much everything. Sydney is expensive for hotels but (more so if you're sharing your room with a partner/friend) the Altamont is very good value.
